7/2 with hills looks a good price on a yes vote in Scotland. Latest times/Sun poll shows a 48-42 split in favour of no. However that is a change from 52 -38 on the last poll by you gov. Additionally undecided voters appear to be heading mainly to yes.
Can't see this price lasting. 4.6 on betfair and the momentum with yes.
we are on 45-50% last week at 7/2, which has also shortened
if the news is shifting that significantly, fine, but (throwing it out there..) do we want to jump ship already?
its one poll (in before kmac gives me a list of stuff)

:-)
All I will say is this is from the most Union friendly pollster. I have been canvassing and polling people for months in various areas and we knew this was much, much tighter than what the official polls said.
It looks like the latest No Advertisement campaigning has backfired as well. It's pissed off alot of folk, mostly the people who have been undecided and swirling towards no. All most as bad as their TV advert last week.

bald are comically top price yes now at 7/2 on oddschecker after wanting to massively be with yes for the past week. I am going to the same shop tomorrow to ask for £600 at 7/2 yes just to see what happens after them knocking me back on no today at 1/4.

Sounds like its highly unlikely No can win now without it falling in that band.

The 45-50 bet is still the most likely outcome I think. Really just pointing out that yes seems to have all the momentum and in politics that seems crucial and wondered whether 7/2 was good value?

Unlikely to see this on SSN tonight at Palace
I'm a confirmed luddite too.
Never had Sky and never will.
I'd rather make my annual donation through a season ticket to Sheff Wed than give funds to Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool and co via TV subscriptions.
I know I'm a saddo but I much preferred football when it was actually a game.

this is the first transfer window where i have really thought its gone way ott. £800m spent, and a huge transfer of value from tv deals via clubs to players and their agents, more so than ever
sky sports news, don't forget the H Q at the end, hype it all up and sheep fans lap it up.
Last time i saw it, scottish football hadn't spent a penny today. its as if they are in their garden, peering through the fence at their neighbours quaffing champagne and caviar while they drink Irn-bru and eat cream crackers
just all a bit mental.

Perhaps I'm just getting old :-)

Ipswich were asking for nearly 12 million for Mcgoldrick tonight
That really hits home the game has gone

Mcgoldrick is out of contract in the summer so from this point on sale value plummets. Ipswich turned down 8m, we walked away. Nothing more than a routine championship player. Astonishing to turn it down really

I remember an outstanding Kevin Doyle performance away to France in the World Cup playoff years ago. He held the ball up well, was great in the air and strong. His finishing was okay too on a poachers level.
Has he declined a lot since? I think he could be a good fit in our system, but a little criminal to drop Gayle atm.

Seen him a few times last few seasons regressed a lot i think, dont really understand loaning out Murray to replace him with Doyle
