Been awol since Pierce let us down, fell asleep watching it, thought it was coming to his time, didn't know he'd fouled out when I looked at the result. Was just thinking can't remember ever seeing him foul out in 15 years watching him, apprently that's the first time since 2010 and the 4th playoff game ever. Running good.

Don't fancy Boston to trouble Miami in the east finals, they don't match up well with the Heat, but given my current form not gna give any input into red's suggested bet either way, time to look for a definite winner before I next pop my head up.

Really enjoying the Phil/channing stuff, interesting

Been talking with Arbboy about this and he is a better judge of the NBA than me and he agrees with Jeff re the way they  matchup so I would leave it tbh.

Tennis.

Agnieska Radwanska is fourth up today on court 1.
She plays Bojana Jovanovski and is 1/19 to win.
It's unlikely to be covered on TV.

Serena Williams starts her tournament tomorrow.

Got a bit of an obscure one for you - Norwegian Division 1, Bryne vs Ull. Kisa.

Newly promoted Ull. Kisa are top of the league after 8 games, having won 6 and lost 2. Away, they have won 3, lost 1, scoring 9 and conceding 6. They have won their last 3 games, and their last 4 away games. Bryne are 8th in the league, having won 3, drawn 2, lost 3. At home they have won 2, drawn 1, lost 1, scoring 7 and conceding 4. They have won their last 2 games but have not won 3 in a row for over two years. Also their captain is out injured.

Obviously Ull. Kisa could come unstuck at some point and stop doing so well, but with the form they are in odds of 4.1 on Betfair seem far too high. I have had a little dabble myself. Suggest a small bet for the thread.

Just found this little nugget of value .....

Robin V P to be top Arsenal Euro Scorer @ 8 -11 with Hills (way too big) .

Lucas Podolski his main rival has been used on the left hand side of midfield for Germany in recent times and isnt as prolific a goalscorer as a few years ago .

Walcott & Ox Chamberlain wont play enough to threaten and even if they do get some match time they are normally out on the wing

I suggest max bet £220 or £165 but the problem is one decent sized bet with Hills and the price will go  Sad

Betting coup.

At the start of her match against Alberta Brianti this morning, world number one Victoria Azarenka could be laid at 1.02. This didn't seem unreasonable as she cruised into a 2-0 lead while totally outplaying her 103 ranked opponent. This was the point when I fell asleep. When I awoke Azarenka was 6-7 0-4 with Brianti on break point for 0-5. Azarenka was showing no obvious physical distress. Azarenka was 5/1 at this point. The final result? 6-7 6-4 6-2.

Remarkable.

The Euros start in 10 days and there wont be any transfers before or during so he will be an Arsenal player for this bet

To answer you both Phil and Ed

Lets assume RVP, Podoloski and either Theo or The Ox starts

thats a minimum of 3 group games  = 270 minutes (in different games) for 2/3 players ....plus you then have the good possibility that Germany,Holland & England will progress past the group stages so more games of 90 minutes to swerve an Arsenal players goal.

+ you then have the other players (not all likely to start) Mertsacker.Rosiscky and Koscielny that could get on & sneak a goal  etc .

I would say no goal scorer is very unlikely, and even if it was to happen 20s is way too short

PS ...... That said I do think its a straight match bet between Podolski and RVP with the %s  and price heavily favouring RVP

Spent ages doing the maths on this and making it value and then realised Bendtner is still an Arsenal player which I am pretty sure tips it over the edge into no value.

Also pretty certain Podolski isn't officially an Arsenal player until July 1st which is a pretty big grey area for such a bet.

Im sure Podolski does count as an Arsenal player for this bet as I contacted victor.and bet365 and they confirmed" he is" (obv if he wasnt RVP is an even better bet and so is no goalscorer)
