Probably right but I would take them in matchbet over Betfair when Channing takes his millions of liquidity over ;-)

Daily Report as @ 0845, Tuesday September 11th

We made a profit yesterday of £60.

One aged bet completed, it was a a winner, & we never placed any new bets.

The winner was an NFL bet, £66 @ 10/11 on "over 50.5 rushing yards" by a chap who goes by the nick of "Law Firm". He managed 50.5, with another 40 to spare. In the recommend, Bobby1 said ......

I suggest having £66 at 10/11 with Laddies on Benjarvis Green Ellis to have over 50.5 rushing yards for Cincy in their game with Baltimore in this weeks NFL. Baltimore have a tough run D but BGE will benefit from his back up Bernard Scott being out with injury and should get a big % of the carries for Cincy, I would expect him to have around 20+ carries with Scott out.

Note "around 20 carries". The guy had 18 carries. Top Tipping, Phil.

Fred is now 2 from 2 in NFL in September, for £160 profit.

The 2nd T20 ODI was washed out, with South Africa on the brink of victory.

We never backed him, but we ought to salute Mr Murray, after he won the US Open last night.  I believe it was the first time in my lifetime that a male British player has won a “Grand Slam”. I'm not sure why, but Murray has had to work hard to earn the public's respect & affection. But slowly, he is doing so - he is a real fighter, with great heart & spirit.

SPOTY will be quite an evening, with so many Brits shining this year on the world stage.

What's coming up?

Some fairly drab World Cup qualifiers are televised this evening, none of which set pulses racing.

The same bloke greened out after backing Murray too.

I think he may be losing his bottle...

Bit harsh that, Ralph. He's not been the same since he fell in love.

found what i believe is a decent bet tonight

BELGIUM TO HAVE MOST CORNERS vs WALES tonight 10-11 with blue square

belgium averaged 7.5 corners per qualifying game last campaign, wales averaged 4.2

It is not hard to make the argument that belgium have probably improved again since then and wales have regressed.

You could argue why not just back belgium to win at a similar price but they still havent won the games they should have yet and i feel the corners bet offers more value.

suggest £40

horsey (or anyone else),

Where did you find those stats, please?

I want to have a look at various "Corner" markets, & the source of those stats sounds ideal.

Gonna need to be a step ahead of the game if you want to beat corner markets Mr Kendall Smiley

I think its safe to say the odds compilers use the statistics to price the markets.

What you need to know is obscure stats- like if a team had a winger that never cut in and always went to the byline, corner expectation might be significantly higher if he is in the team. You could then look into statistics where Team A average 5.2 corners when he doesnt start and 7.4 corners if he does. Problem would then be sample size and statistical anomolies such as a large portion of games he starts are at home, against weaker sides, in cup games, opposition players were sent off etc. So only after studying every single game and the changing variables would you be confident of calculating the changing corner expectation for each additional variable, in this case Player X starting.

Get to work
