 I just remembered one of my all time favourite laughs in politics. Thatcher had gone and the leadership election had been long, complicated and slightly messy. John Major was really the start of a new era, many people had never known any other PM.

 He stood up on his first day, composed himself and was just about to speak, the house was hushed, even the opposition were showing respect. You could hear a pin drop and Major began to open his mouth. He was poised.

 Dennis Skinner shouted "Resign".

 I think people shout "Get in the hole" way more than anything else don't they? Some of the things on the list are very underpriced but they have a big overound.

 Don't fancy USA or Fore much.

If I had my way, when these shouty types do that banal nonsensical "in the hole/you the man" thing, I'd have them instantly shot. Humanely of course.

Did you know that today, on this thread, a Gentleman suggested Spurs to win the Premier League? Not yet sure what Banzai classification that gets.

I did actually wonder for a moment if you had hacked Ace's account.

But in his defence Acey is a supporter of Lenny and the knuckle-draggers so I gave him the benefit of the doubt on this occasion whilst making a mental note for future reference.
