Daily Summary, as @ 0800, Tuesday November 27th

PROFIT on Month = £835.00

Unsettled Bets  - £678.50

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=14

Have you any idea what your total profits are from the start of the Fred?

Tighty is correct.

It really is worth clicking that Link which I post Daily & looking at the Spready.

If you look along the bottom, each month is shown seperately, but....if you want an overall view of how we do, cliick the 2nd tab from the left along the bottom

That shows you how much we have won or lost in each Sport, how many bets we have placed on each sport, as well as the ROI on each Sport.

Some quite interesting stats there, but make sure you include sample size when analysing them.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=4

Worth also mentioning that Mere manages the Spreadsheet, & personally logs every bet. I just fill in the "return", win or loss, etc.

Look, If Dai had won gold and Bradley, jess, Mo, Andy Murray, assorted Paralympians and rowers hadn't we'd be laughing all the way to the shortlist

This is my last word on the subject. Until I win worst bet of the year in the thread awards, when I will indulge in a spot of the Gwyneth Paltrow's.

Err... if Dai hadn't either and none of the others did that we were both seemingly relying on... Ainslie would be odds on.

Seems like I hit a raw nerve, but meh, we should all be able to give and take some ribbing for the stuff that goes wrong, as we can all bask in reflected glory when banzais come off.  I made a bad bet, I'm happy it cost me a lot more than Fred

Morning Mr T. I have just noticed the Betfair market for Hadrian is far more liquid now. Not that I get amused by the ditherage or anything.

It will be interesting to see if the programme on the night gives balanced coverage to all the shortlisted candidates.

Morning H,

Shush, I'm busy dithering.

Seriously, the bet is owned by you, so make a proposal, or remind me what the proposal was, & I'll get on the case.

I cannot access Betfair until this evening as it does not get on with the Browser I use at work, but presumably that would be OK.

As to the bet, I'm relaxed whatever we do, but if you wish to lock up £130 for about a tenner or so it makes peerfect sense to me.

My take on the bet is that there is no fun left in it only potential depression. Bearing in mind that the next pitch may be a good batting surface, last year India scored 600+ in the 1st innings v WI with 3 centuries and a 166no from the number 6 batsmen I would take the money and stroll off. Time is on your hands as the next test is not until next week and you can decide whether to take the profit this month or next.

Daily Summary as at 1.30pm, Tuesday 27th November

We lost £28.50 yesterday.

Just three bets completed, two were losers, & one returned a profit of over a quid……

The losses included an inexplicable wager on Dai Greene to win SPOTY. It must have looked a worthwhile Banzai at the time, but 6 months on, not so much…..still, all is not lost, we still have Ben Ainslie.

Football returns tonight, & maybe our 300th Football bet awaits. The previous 298 have returned a ROI of 5.5%, or an average profit of just over £2. Soon we will be rich beyond our wildest dreams. Good luck Football Bet # 300.

My dad & grandad where regulars during the Jim Gregory era at Loftus Road. Quite the old school business man, I believe.

Yes, he ran a 2nd hand car business & assorted small businesses, but he made a bloody fortune, & invested much of it in the "Stadium" which was pretty dire back then.

He also purchased from Fulham, for £15,000, this lad......

Me too, I adore them, not just for the central content, but all the peripheral stuff.

Stat: Liverpool's second highest goalscorer this season is own goal.

Spurs do well against Liverpool generally and if Dembele is alongside Sandro tonight, I think we will have too much for them.

10/11 is not very appealing tho.
