Morning TK,
I thought you had decided some time ago to ditch basketball as it was too hard am edge to make profitable. Is this a time to debate again?
I obv disagree with this, I have shown a profit for 3 years straight of >10% ROI
Volume is obv the issue with TfT thread. I have placed hundreds of bets on NBA whereas TfT has only placed 50.
sample size again
i have no idea whether the basketball bets have been good value or not (no offence to anybody i just have zero knowledge of the sport)
a question i would ask though is have the basketball bets been beating the market? (again i have no idea as have not really tracked the bets) if the market has not been beaten then maybe a review of sorts is worthwhile
The bets 99% always beat the market, Tom has a knack for nicking the value.
No review needed at all, sample size is ridc small.
If you are invariably beating the market, that is much more important than winning or losing over this sample size.

the walsall v oldham game has seen a bit of my attention today
has anybody else looked at the game?
I though the Oldham loan signings of Lee Barnard, Chris Iwelumo and obika were all good however they have very few fit midfielders
Walsall are probably not as good as there recent form suggests however

Always rated Barnard, surprised he can't get a championship club tbh.
Legal troubles maybe?

Another one who looked good but flattered to deceive. Agree that Championship is his level

Afternoon Mr T.
Tonight sees the return of our most profitable sport ( at least for a couple more days) - rugby league. Tonight Leeds play local rivals Hull. Leeds have mastered the art of peaking for the end of season playoffs, so with early season rustiness this should be a close game. Leeds have Kevin Sinfield playing and he more than anyone else knows the value of a drop goal, and will even use it when they are 3 scores up. In anticipation of a close game I will propose a bet on a drop goal happening.
£10 a drop goal occurs @ 7/2 Paddy Power.
Afternoon Hector.
Am offline most of today (until I bust the tourney) so can't c&p the betslip at present, but we are on.
Hope we can get year two off to a winning start, and increase those RL profits.
£20 @ 7/2, Drop Goal to be scored tonight, Leeds v Hull.

Doncaster into 7/5 best price
19/5 BF and 7/2 Bookies. Some life. Shame we haven't seen the investment. Squad has continued the good form and in three games time if they transition well from the change in management I will be very positive.
Coral go standout 9/4 Barca for CL. Better than BF

Ive had £20 on Ottawa Senators at Carolina tonight in the NHL money line 21/20 , I did write a bit of a report as to why I think its a good bet even with a few players out injured but for some reason the post disappeared.

Linked an article that I've written for UFC 156 tonight with some highlighted bets. It's for a general audience so is dumbed down and not very eye opening but it will at least give you some info if you want a bet tonight. One guy has 30 (of 36) career 1st round wins and is available at evens.

We backed Mighty Mouse against Benavidez for almost exact same reasoning. But he had better strike defence than McCall which made the bet better at a similar price.

Is it just me or is Ireland to win in the 6 Nations today at 2.3 a rather big price, with Wales out of form and with a few injuries etc?

Have to see what the lads say Spudy.
Logically, I hope you are right, as we have backed Ireland to win 6 nations outright, & Wales tro finish bottom.
So if Wales beat Ireland today, we revert to PLan B......
I don't mind backing Ireland today, but I need a view on "value".
