I am sure we have a couple of Doncaster Rovers experts on here somewhere?

Donny 10/9 at home to Walsall, liking this for weekend, probably not TfT stuff.

Tighty, hector and others, what do you make of England's one change for the Ireland game (Haskell in for Morgan)?

Breakdown will be crucial IMO and Haskell looks better and better every time I see him in that department. I worry about his discipline and Morgan is probably a bit better with the ball, but the small edge the big man offers in the ruck might be what England needs to win.

If the two sides play like they did last weekend, I see England winning well, but I'd be surprised if Ireland look that brittle again.

I don't see England winning well. Think it will be hugely close

The England back row will be full on to get the better of Stephen O'Brien at the breakdown. O'Brien boxed up Warburton and posted him first class to Siberia, that dominant he was for an hour

Haskell has always been physically imposing but a bit brainless, not just in terms of discipline where he is a walking yellow card. Yet to be convinced he is a true Test match player. Not in the class of Tom Wood as a back row, thats for sure

The darts bet i think, was still good value, the 1st game threw us a bit, I wasn't expecting 9, but on the other hand I expected more than 4 in the Lewis/Whitlock game, the killer was 11 in the Taylor game though.

The only consolation Is they may make the line 32.5 next week and we can get it all back.  Cheesy

Back row and breakdown games are always affected by yellow cards and Haskell's discipline issues are well documented. I agree with you about Wood, who is getting very close to a compete player. I wouldn't mind Richard Hill back Smiley

Warburton want at the races at all last week so I'm not sure I would be putting all of the praise on O'Brien. England didn't do a bad job with Richie McCaw.

I see Ireland trying to kill the ball and upset England's rhythm so it will be win and list at the ruck. Ireland might edge a kicking contest, partly because if it is a strict ref and a stodgy encounter, England have a higher chance of seeing yellow.

Manu on the bench against a tiring BOD could be fun

I've seen it all now. Fight is advertised as a 12 rounder, announced as a 12 rounder and Botha thinks its a 12 rounder. SBW gasses badly and they change if to a 10 rounder mid fight with SBW out on his feet at the end of the 10th. Bent as fuck.  SBW wins a UD which was the right decision had it been a 10 round fight as Botha did nothing for 6 rounds but SBW would not have seen out another two rounds.

Sounds very dodgy.

That is utterly ridiculous. If it isn't completely bent, I'm  ing for a very good explanation .

Not an expert but a ST holder. Not the most reliable of teams on home form. Would think the price is about right. Walsall are in good form, but last week was one of those games where we were never going to score. Think they will win but its a no bet for me.

I spoke last night about Eden Park, the T20 being played on a rugby ground tomorrow with short straight boundaries

I tried to get a better depiction of the strange dimensions of this for cricket

and the stadium site shows the above which gives you an idea, showing the rugby pitch and the cricket boundaries

Including the England Tour last in 2008, the following T20s have been played in Auckland

2008 Eng 13 sixes
2008 W Indies 14 sixes
2010 Pakistan 16 sixes
2012 Zimbabwe 13 sixes
2013 S Africa 12 sixes

the 16 sixes game was remarkable, as 143 included 7 sixes, 146 won it with 9 sixes

For the nit, Ladbrokes will offer you over 11.5 tomorrow at 4/6. Given steady extraneous factors (waether etc) this is really a 1/2 shot.

The drop in pitch is light in colour and looks a belter

For a sporting chance with Sporting bet, over 15 at 11/8

It was a terrific bet, we just ran a bit bad.

Next week we get on the Recovery Mission.

Tighty

Just playing Devils A here.

We are basically betting on teams equalling/bettering the highest ever number of sixes in a match at the ground for 11/8?

I know f all about cricket, but are we saying the game is more geared up to produce sixes, or is there another reason that I'm missing

the nitty choice is over 11.5. Looks over-priced at 4/6

the laggy choice (for a fun sweat) is to expect more sixes in T20 these days with the likes of Buttler playing the scoop etc, compared to the more regimented game up to 2010-11 when the IPL really changed the way the game is played

We see from the Pak game that over 15 is possible even with a starting score of 143...
