You'd hate to be an East Stirling fan going to work on Monday...

Touch damp in Dublin then.
Will complete a mighty fine day for me, not, if the French turn it on in this weather.

Just a bit.
We've not won a bean yet, but not lost serious money, & if Ireland can win this, we'll be out of it, or nearly. On the other hand......

Despite the weather, conditions, and awful pitch, this is a much better game to watch.

We really don't expect 14/1 shots to win very often, keep them coming, the wins will come.

Sitting playing the Gala Birmingham £100-er.
Chap says he bets he can name three people who will make the final table. There are currently 83 players left.
I say "what price you offering?"
He says "10-1"
Does Fred want in?

I declined Sheriff's bet for City to lead inside 15 minutes, so Tevez netted in the 11th.
We are doing well today.....
Ireland are looking good though.

And it is still not even in the top 3 bonkers comments he's made so far in this comp, an hour in.
We're having a lot of fun tho, as is only proper.

10/1 looks like stealing money to me. Offer
to put the knife in.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots
