Those lucky BF punterers(soz chomps) who laid over £43K on Mickelson @ 1.02 now have a nice sweat as he goes into a playoff with Brandon Grace in the Scottish Open golf.

I missed redarmi's reply, hard keeping up with Fred while blinding off in a poker tourney. Maybe Mere we should throw a token fiver or tenner at Kelly and MCW in the rookie of the year market and we can top up if the prices get any better.
Thanks.

A terribly misinformed article by Laddies opposing our Watford bet completely. I assume they are ramping the position they really want rather than publishing something so poorly researched!
http://news.ladbrokes.com/en-gb/football/championship/watford-primed-for-championship-relegation-at-a-porky-price_163547.html
One footnote though is that I am slightly nervous that all the Udinese players signing on perm contracts has yet to be rubber stamped by authorities, although the Watford board say it is academic.
All players are fully involved in the pre-season so it won't effect preparations assuming the registration documents do indeed come through in the next 3 weeks. Will keep thread posted.

Decent performance by Shahid Afridi in the ODI against the West Indies today.
Pakistan made 224 with Afridi getting 76 off 55 balls.
Then he took 7 for 12 off 9 overs - the second best ODI bowling figures ever.
All this on his comeback after being left out recently.

Daily Report
Loss on Month £0.67
Outstanding Bets £1695.60
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&pli=1#gid=27
A loss of just over £19 yesterday as a modest profit overall on the exciting first Ashes Test was offset by an unsuccessful Rugby League bet with 68 points scored when we required less than 49
In the Tour De France six stages remain and our hopes rest on Nairo Quintana hitting the podium. He is currently 6th, 1 minute and 22 seconds off third after finishing second to Froome on the Ventome yesterday and taking time out of Contador et al
I am not sure how realistic it is to expect him to close the gap through this week but with two ascents of the Alpe D-Huez and the Col De Madeleine to come, my muggle cycling eye says we have chances as Quintana ascends mountains expending as much effort as you do if cycling downhill to the corner shop for a pint of milk.
Quintana is currently odds-on to podium wherever you look
http://www.oddschecker.com/cycling/tour-de-france/top-3-finish
That would be a nice bonus, and something to sweat this week
Elsewhere we have a quick turn round to the Ashes Test on Thursday and T20 games live on Sky Mon-Wed
Of course the Muirfield Open golf starts on Thursday at North Berwick where no doubt its going to be dry, firm and fast and we will be perusing offers and tips all week. So far our only position is Paul Lawrie at 100/1 e/w

I know. Shameful
With Australia narrowly failing to win the First Test yesterday at 3-1 ante-post we now have a £25 free bet to use with Unibet. Not sure on the expiry
Any bright ideas, pipe up this week please

Shahid Afridi made his 236th career comeback yesterday with 76 off 55 and 7/12.
He's no Agar, tho.

Does the Unibet bet have to be on the second test or is it any market? I don't have anything to suggest; just clarifying the terms.
