I think the surface issue is over-rated these days.
Someone like Berdych/Wawrinka would smash Fognini to pieces. But 100-1 is 100-1 I suppose.

It is really pleasing to see Ironside picking up on Foggy's clay court prowess and hunting out value in the French Open. At 100-1 he is value, and compared to Murray's price he is insane value. I think Wiki is a tad out of date as Foggy is currently ranked 13 in the World and if it was just done on clay court results I guess somewhere about 6th, and if it was just over the last 8 months then maybe he would be in the top 3 but he does play a lot on this surface.
I think you can only get 2 places for the French which would mean beating Nadal or Djokovic for the bet to win, nearer the time you can back him to get to the semi's and that might be a plan. Take the 100-1 now and also back him later on to get to the semi's. He has never beaten Nadal but he was competitive in last years French, losing 7-6, 6-4, 6-4. As far as Djokovic is concerned he beat him 7 years ago but lost heavily to him last year in Monte Carlo 6-2, 6-1.
In short 100-1 is a bet and he has the ability to do well, but his temperament is somewhat dubious.

Hope JR gets well soon
Did as well as could be expected for a bet at that price, certainly gave me more of a run than Jozy Altidore

Fognini has a 2-1 winning record over Berdych winning both matches on clay but losing on a hard court.
Against Wawrinka he is losing 4-1 with all matches played on clay, however in their last meeting, in 2013, he won and this was their first meeting for 2 years.
I actually think that the surface is more important than ever now. Murray has won oodles of titles over the years but has never won on clay and has never even reached a final. Fognini showed yesterday that the type of shot you can play on clay, and the movement required is completely different to a hard surface.

by the way Badree at 33-1 came very close to scooping for us. almost certainly would have done if west indies had played the final
innings/wickets/average/economy
Imran Tahir 5 12 10.91 6.55
MAA Jamil 7 12 13.83 6.68
S Badree 5 11 10.27 5.65
R Ashwin 6 11 11.27 5.35
A Mishra 6 10 14.70 6.68
Yes, it was a great bet Rich. Thank you.

Update on our cycling bet - Matti Breschel rode in the Tour of Flanders yesterday but unfortunately crashed out with 50km remaining so difficult to assess how good is form is ahead of Paris Roubaix next Sunday. Thankfully it seems he hasn't suffered any serious injury so should make the start of Paris -Roubaix, just have to hope he has a better day!

I guessed at some point they would have Undertaker lose, so thought I would have a bet with Paddy, and left it when they offered me about £2.35
After clicking the link, I spotted something quite amusing...
According to her Twitter page, this girl is Arian Foster's no1 fan, so obviously she was excited to meet him Saturday and get this picture with him!
All well and good until Arian Foster sees this picture and tweets back 'Lol I appreciate the love but that's not me'

Eurovision rec incoming...
Stick this one up on Betty and leave it hanging.
Go to Semi Final 1, 'To qualify' market and back Iceland. Ask for £30 @ 5 and leave it there. Fair chance it will get matched between now and ESC week.

Heard she only knew about it when he got her into bed and fumbled trying to get her bra off.
