That top half of the draw looks so uninspiring. Not sure I've looked forward less to a World Champs than this one.

Bar being a hot head I don't think Pardew is a clown.
In b4 pleno starts saying he is...
Getting them as close to the champs league as they did a couple of years back with that squad was incred.
He is being given no money for players and is being forced to sell his best ones.
Def think they over achieved first half.
Think they are under achieving now.
Not sure i'd want too wade in to deep but 9/5 does seem too big and somewhat hype/media driven.
Plus swansea just aren't all that great.
He ran like God, that's why we nearly achieved that.
Whether he is a clown or not is debatable, he is a pretty detestable person though, and I would say that about very few people, reasons why I say so :
- He's a spineless, this is a fact.
- He has no respect for others, this is a fact.
- He basically insults Newcastle fans in every post match interview he does with the rubbish he spouts, this is a fact.
- Him and the rest of his brigade above him have turned me from a die hard fan who used to go to >50% of away games as well as a season ticket holder to someone who doesn't even know when they are playing half the time, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one absolutely disillusioned with these *****
I could go on and on, basically he's a very unlikeable man who I don't want running the football team I support, but sadly he's only a part of the problem.
I don't know what price would make us backable, I do know the atmosphere on Saturday will be volatile at best and it does seem like the players are in holiday mode whereas Swansea are fighting for everything.

I know this is deeply contrarian, but bear with me
Newcastle have lost four games in a row by a combined margin of 11-0 and have lost six of their last eight home league games, failing to score in all six defeats
The reasons are well known, Pardew is a clown, the squad lacks depth, their one goal-scorer Remy is injured, team selections baffle the die-hards etc etc etc
So...we know all that
When was the last time you saw Newcastle nearly 2-1 at home to a bottom half side?
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/newcastle-v-swansea/winner
let alone a side like Swansea with one win in six?
Remy is clearly important. The last public statement was after the Stoke game
"It was close today," Pardew added. "I thought we had good character in the group.
"It was an honest performance but we lacked creative flair, and we lack a little bit of ability in and around the box.
"Loic's return, which I think will happen next week, will be important to us."
I think 9/5 Newcastle at BMU, home to Swansea, is boots on wade in and bet like men time.
I await opinions
Like it tighty although Newcastle may drift further as swansea still seem to be over backed most weeks.

I may well be slightly biased, and on the negative side if anything.
But I'd never say someone was detestable based on his football results at the club, that's not biased, it's idiotic.
Pretty sure I've read football fans on here say similar about him that have previously endured the Pardew experience.

That Newcastle bet is to a 100% book at the moment so you can't have a bad bet. 9/5 each of two, 5/2 draw.
Given Newcastle's horrific form and nothing to play for, I would rather back Swansea at 9/5, especially as that clown Chico Flores is suspended.

Maybe. But i gen don't think it matters-esp too a non fan-whether or not he is detestable.
I think he's a decent manager who has flaws like the rest of us.
I just think it's far to simplistic too say he ran like god when you nearly made the champs league.
Also simplistic but I subscribe personally too the old saying that you finish in the table where you deserve too.
Overall I doubt many people would have thought Newcastle would have been far higher nor lower than where they currently stand-when the season started.
Bar the Hull blow up, I think with what he has he's done ok with that squad-overall this season.

We seem to have a surfeit of clowns today.

The CL season we obv ran above expectation, last season ran below expectation, this season maybe is about right, so yeah we basically agree.
The problem is where the club is headed moreso than results.

Like Hamza tomorrow in the 3.30 Newmarket.
Frontrunner/out and out sprinter in a small field on drying ground on the Rowley Mile, who's had a run. He's against a favourite who hasn't run in a sprint since his 2yo debut and been off since last August.
Baldyfred go 5/1. There are eight runners at the moment. Win or each-way fine, athough the latter dependant on one not coming out and dropping it too to places.
Either £30 on the nose, oi oi, or £20 win and show. Up to betplacer.
Fred has just gone back to 5-1 for Hamza, 4.9 on bf. Just in case anyone missed the price.
4.9 is 3.9/1 Omm, wouldn't be steaming in at that price.
Pretty sure he meant too back with bald at 5's mate.
This.
Oops, my bad, weird if they stuck him back out too 5/1, as hasn't been backable at above 4/1 since last night. Looks like a plopable but hope they pay out if/when he flies in.
