Bit more background on the new 'big 3' at Cleveland for punter's who don't follow the NBA as much as me and Jaffa.  I actually think this 'big 3' is better all round than the one in Miami the last 4 years.

That's why i prefer the 19/10 for the East than the 9/2 for the title slightly.  5.5/2.9 is the price we are getting the Cavs in the final which is 10/11.  Don't think there is any great value in that.  All the value is in the 19/10 part of the equation for me.

Think Chicago will be a danger in the East but abs noone else, it's kinda been missed how big it is that Paul George did a David Busst (remember him) last week and will be out for the season. George is Indiana's best player, great defender, young, improving, top scorer, and Indiana finished last year top of the East above Miami. They are no channers without him.

I've backed Cleveland at 50 and 60/1 and loving the price crash but have to agree even at 5's now the price is very unlikely to go out much and much more likely to contract. Thinking it might be time to think of greening only when we see the Eastern Conf finals between the Bulls and Cavs, and even then it may be time to hold strong. I'm still not sure I see them winning so think greening might be best then, the East is so weak but they have to beat the West champs to win it all still.

Chris Broussard just tweeted saying Ray Allen (all time 3 point leader) is only likely to not retire if the Cavs get Love, he will sign there too. He will be great for that team

Allen such a key cog in the wheel as he keeps defence's honest in the paint and creates all the space for james and Love to go to work in the paint under single coverage.

Thought's on this market jaffa?  10/11 is sorely tempting if you didn't have to tie your cash up for 9 months at such a short price.

Looks like buying money to me. I have no clue who I would even put third after Cavs n Bulls. Don't think any other team has made any improvements since a pathetically weak Eastern Conf last year. I might just stick a small bet on, even if u double £20 or £30 it's no bad thing is it

EDIT: My shouty man acc is ridic limited after my fall out with them last yr (it was already resticted) but they took my £33 east enough, pretty sure they'll take hundreds from an unrestricted acc in that case

They will lay £1100 to win a grand on a new account per the oddschecker link.

In the cycling, our man Giampaolo Caruso got himself into a brilliant position with 1km left to go. However, when the final ramp came into sight, and he was asked the question, there was a brief grimace before he folded. The obvious conclusion is that he does not have enough racing in his legs yet, as if he had, he would have nailed that stage. Instead, the favourite won (and Caruso was 19th). Ho hum ... really thought he had it there.

Very speculative...Westwood has just birdied three on the spin and has gone -5 at Valhalla. 12-16/1 to win - which we all know comes with a massive health warning

Boyles have him at 200/1 SPOTY - is that value? He's hugely popular with the "man in the street" and if he binked a major if give him a big chance top 3 with Ryder Cup
To come

Views...guess it'll go soon

he is still going to be bigger than 12/1 if he wins the uspga (200/16=12/1 ish as a double).  Don't think there is any value in the 200/1 tbh.

In our PGA Golf three ball, we have Bradley, over Yang & Dufner.

Bobby1 told me the basis of the bet was to get against Dufner.

Early days yet, but after 2 holes, Bradley & Yang are level par, with Dufner 3 over.

For Phil's bet, hopefully not. Wink

I gather he is carrying a neck injury which may explain a few things....

I honestly don't know how he hits a golf ball with any accuracy, with all that wiggling & waggling. He generally does though.

Strange how some unorthodox golf swings seem to defy logic & work. Jim Furyk springs to mind.  David Duval, too, though his light never shone brightly for long.

Have been having a quick look at the market for most clean sheets in the Premier League this season. I was thinking Chelsea - whichever goalkeeper they go for they'll have a great one, and their back four plus back ups are solid.

The other contenders would probably be Man City who are always vulnerable, especially if Kompany is out for any period of time; Arsenal who are no longer the kings of 1-0; Liverpool who, again are leaky; and ManUre, who currently have Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones as their CBs.

What do others think, and if you agree what price would you have Chelsea?
