Daily Report

Loss on Month £763.95

Outstanding Bets £4281.63

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=28

No bets completed yesterday. Feels like a win

Kent beat Gloucestershire by 24 runs in the RLODC quarter final. They didn't play particularly well on a pudding of a pitch and were relieved to get through.

No semi-final draw was going to be easy, and they got the middling draw (anything but Notts away) as follows:

Warwickshire vs Kent at Edgbaston
Durham vs Nottinghamshire at the Riverside Ground

with the Kent game played next Thursday

Kent would be underdogs against any of these, but have a punchers chance

Much will depend on their very talented young hitter Sam Billings who in this competition this season has scores of 64 (54  balls), 135*(58), 87(42), 51* (39), 20, 61 (36) with the best strike rate in the competition. Billings will play for England one day

We have £20 e/w Kent at 33-1 paying half odds for reaching the final

They are currently 9/2 outsiders of 4 http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/royal-london-one-day-cup/winner

In the US Open tennis Raonic made the third round beating Gojowczyk in 4 sets and now plays Estrella Burgos

In baseball the Orioles beat the Twins 9-1, with a 4th careeer grand slam by Chris Davis

they remain 7 games clear of the Yankees in the AL East, who beat the blue jays 6-3

The Yankees bet of less than 87 wins for the season is going to be a real nailbiter, currently W70 L63 needing to win 17 of their last 29 to do us. Current win rate of 52.6% having won 7 of their last 10, and would need to win at 58.6% from here for us to lose

Also a nailbiter is the AL Central where the Royals lost 6-1 last night and the Tgers won 7-1 to close to within half a game of the Royals at the top of the division

The Full Strictal-y come dancing line up has been confirmed and what a corker it is

Favourites Pixie lott, frankie from the saturdays, simon boy band and thom beard alongside outsiders such as tim antiques, mrs browns wife, andy murray's mum and a this morning interviewer

finally, Jack Charlton here in action in 1996. Where and why?

No idea, but nothing to stop someone starting a thread to see if there is any interest.

We had some great fun with it previously, though there was plenty of grief, as well. A lot of work went into it, too.

It was not a "Fred" thing though.

Probably - well definitely - too late for this week though?

Makes Mccormack look a bargain!

Wildlife bloke must be bad if he's behind Scott Mills in the odds list.

Mills took part in one of the Let's Dance for Sport/Comic Relief programmes, where minor celebs imitate famous dances or jig along to famous songs, alongside Olly Murs. I remembered him not being very good. I was right:

He's the one in the Brian May wig. Laboured and without any discernible timing. Obviously up for a bit of fun, with a regular fan base on radio 1, so might well get through a few rounds however well he dances. But he's not going to win unless he enters into some form of Faustian pact.

You can strike out half the field easily enough. Just need to see some dancing.

West Ham now 2/1.

Cannot have them that big against a Saints side that are still very much finding their feet.

Looks like last night's big outside bias at romford has carried over to this morning's BAG's meetings for anyone interested.  First two results are 456 546.

Wouldn't fancy the 3 dog at 15/8 anyway with an A1 dog inside with similar trap times. Tricast with 5 and 6 late runs, please.

railers won the last 3 races at romford so they must have watered the track and evened it up.
