Echo again!
Come on horsey, please don't let Tal or Tighty be the one to spot the connection....
He was mentioned in a thread belonging to tonight's guest on the show.
That Barry Carter is such a geek.

Pretty sure that's Destiny's Child, but I'm a little nervous of arguing with one so erudite & geeky. Killing Moon, surely?

BET SUGGESTIONS
Monaco v Leverkusen All with bwin
SUGGEST £15
AS Monaco - Bayer Leverkusen
Player to score 2 goals or more
Pick: Stefan Kießling (Lev) 11/1
SUGGEST £10
AS Monaco - Bayer Leverkusen
Player to score 3 goals or more
Pick: Stefan Kießling (Lev) 80/1
SUGGEST £20
AS Monaco - Bayer Leverkusen
How many goals will Team 2 score?
Pick: 3 or more 15/4
Lost a long post twice and taken an hour to get Bwin to let me deposit need sleep...
For those who can the 888 25/1 Leverkusen to score most goals tonight appeals, if i think they can score 3+ (market doesnt make it that big a price) then that wouldnt be miles away from copping if the obvious favs underperform a touch.
Cheers
I was surprised, when i went to look, what a prolific scorer Kießling is
114 in 253 for Leverkusen
56 in his last 100 Bundesliga games
5 in the last 9 in the champions league, 14 champions league career goals
this season
" In the first leg of Leverkusen's Champions League play-off tie with Danish side F.C. Copenhagen, Kießling scored the German's opening goal of a 3–2 away win. In the first game of the Bundesliga season, he converted a Karim Bellarabi pass in the last minute of stoppage time to complete a 2–0 win over Borussia Dortmund. In the second leg of their Champions League play-off against Copenhagen, Kießling scored twice more as Leverkusen advanced to the group stages with a 7−2 aggregate victory"
only 6 caps for Germany since his debut in 2007, too
anyway, i digress
the fun part was trying to find these bets in the bwin client, which seems to have been designed by the lovechild of the Coral Betting software developer and IPoker's lobby architect

it's a line in killing moon

So soon you'll take me
Up in your arms
Too late to beg you or cancel it
Though I know it must be the killing time
Unwillingly mine"

Love that series of Kießling bets. (Note I managed that funny letter thing - C & P ftw).
It was discsussed on the 861 Show, & I seem to recall the experts were not mad keen on it for some reason. I could tell you that reason if I had not fallen asleep halfway through the show.
Anyway, I like it, & we'll have some banzai fun tonight, thanks John.

They we'd against him winning the overall top scorer as Messi and Ronaldo always score so many goals that if is very hard for a mere mortal to get past them. They are both prolific and far more likely to make the final. I don't think they'd be against these bets.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Ahh yes, remember now - Messi, Ronaldo & co are likely to play twice as many games as him with the funny letter thing.

Lahore Lions just beat Southern Express so they need Northern Knights to beat Mumbai in the game about to start to qualify. Fwiw, I thought they looked very good against very weak opposition today and they've been reported to have looked nothing much against the stronger sides so they either blow hot and cold or they're flat-track bullies. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Struggling with the odds for one L1 match tonight
There is one home team with a record this season of W2D2L3 against an away team with W5D1L1. They are 23/10.
There is another home team with a record of W2D2L2 against an away team with W1D3L2. They are the same price.
hmmmm
Is one of these Notts Co v Orient?
Apparently Russell Slade is close to getting the boot and tonight's game is key. It would be utterly ridiculous if he gets sacked. Wouldn't be wanting to go to Derry's mob needing a result though.
John Taylor is yet to score for Poshies but he's been our best player so far, or at worst dead-heating with Maddison, and there's been an over-reaction in his anytime price. He started the season around half the prices being quoted now and 5-1 with Hillies is too big.
£20 at that price please.
