Fred having a bet on the Cesar Caesar Cesar big race this afternoon?

Skai, Ladderbrokes and TheOneWeDon'tMention are six places for fellow icecreams with accounts. Rest will pay first five.

It wouldd seem that, nominally at least, I am in charge today, so if anyone finds us a decent bet, we'll have a dabble in the race we can never spell correctly.

Did you know that the race was named after a Russian Prince bloke, Tsesarevich Alexander, after he bribed the Jockey Club for what we can reasonably assume were mischievous reasons? Eat your heart out Phil Ivey.

Right, my pre-quali recommendations:

Race Winner: Valtteri Bottas @ 33/1 with Totesport. He has an exceptionally quick car this weekend, he'll be in the mix if Lewis (who admittedly is flying) has a problem, 33/1 is crazy. Min bet.

Qualifying Winning Margin: +0.25 @ 5/4 with Bet365. Surprised this is above evens! Again, Lewis is flying this weekend, I expect him to be considerably ahead of the field. Suggest £5.

To reach Q3: Daniil Kyvat @ 4/6 with Betfair Exchange. Daniil has an extremely quick qualifying car under him, unless he has a problem this should easily happen based on the data I've got from practice. Recommend £25.

May post some more in an hour or so, the market is still forming after FP3.

Thanks Pete. These things are never straightforward, but here we go.....

Bottas Outright @ 33/1.

My Totesport Account is empty, & when I tried to deposit, my card had changed & they do not allow me to update the card Online. BetFred were next best (no idea why they would be different to Totesport, they are one & the same) & we have taken £10 @ 25/1, Betfred, Bottas Outright Winner. It still feels decent value.

Qualifying Winning Margin.
The price was 5/4 with BetEveryDay, but they would only permit me the grand sum of £1.60, so NO BET.

The Kyvat bet @ 4/6

We are safely aboard, but at a worse price, £25 @ 1.6 BetFair Exchange, which, I hope, is still marginally the right side of value.  (Only partially matched at present).

I did not know that. Nice.

Noble Silk, Communicator and Big Easy for interest bets. Obligatory forecasts included for the complete mugpunter get rich quick package. Hopefully the racing elders will give Fred something more inspired.

Am playing chess today, so will be out of action this afternoon. VBOL all today. Let's make some money

All looks fine, although I was expecting £5 on Bottas, not £10 - but it's all good :-)

I'm hugely ring-rusty. Early season games are a lottery for me Smiley  Wouldn't be doing the husband wheelbarrow run today.

Play aggressively and see what happens is the plan.

The husband wheelbarrow facility may not be available today. Last I heard, Pete was missing in action, after leaving home with a fully laden wheelbarrow.

Well yes, let us hope it is good, but I believe our minimum bet size is £10 these days, which is commensurate with our bankroll.

Lincoln Vs Telford (conference)

Over 2.5 goals (8/11 ladd)

Telford bottom to lower-mid table Lincoln.  Both teams average well over 3 goals in total per game.  Lincoln in 15 games have scored 23 and conceded 27.  7th highest in the league for goals scored, and the best outside the top 10.  4th worst defence in the division.

Telford, bottom, worse defence in the league, but have scored 19 which is the 4th best outside the Top 8 sides.

Telford games average 3.73 goals, Lincoln games average 3.33 goals per game.

Northern Ireland Vs Faroe Is.

Northern Ireland -1 (5/6 with several)

NI won away last time out with a huge result away to hungray so will be buzzing still.  From what I can see, this is their first home game too since Sept 13? (*soccerway)

Faroe have conceded 10 in last 4, and on 3 occasions 3 goals per game.  Apart from beating gilbratar, they've scored 3 goals away from home since 2012 (9games)
