A positive for the Watford bet - singed Miguel Layun as wing back.  Mexican international who played at World Cup - should rampage in the Championship as long as he settles.

A footnote is that he has 4 times as many twitter followers than the official Watford twitter feed.

Nice goal threat as well, presumably he is actually going back to Spain next season?

Not sure Horse.  They funnel a lot of our transfers through Granada for FFP purposes.

I imagine if we don't go up he will go back there in the summer (assuming they don't get relegated).   We have also signed JuanFran as well from Betis - but he doesn't join till next summer.   I also assume if we don't go up he will end up at Granada/Udinese.

Slightly surprised that Brighton have appointed Chris Hughton

This tweet sums him up well i think

I see Brighton have given up on their ethos of appointing progressive managers who like to play passing football.

Seems a bit harsh. Play the cards you're dealt. Trying to turn Norwich or Birmingham's over 30 team into Bayern Münich would be suicidal. Supposed to be heavy on analysis of players' strengths and weaknesses. Maybe that came across well at interview.

In complete contradiction, Pulis set to be appointed at The Hawthorns.

Yes he is a nice bloke but plays dour football always has just surprised probably do ok for a bit as he usually does.

From a Norwich fan

"hurrah! Someone else agrees. Lovely guy until he manages your club. Reading on here anyone would think he is the second coming"

A good championship coach but does not fit at all into what i thought was the ethos at Brighton.

Nothing wrong with Pulis guarantees they stay up now.

Brighton need to get back on track after a pretty poor first half of the season. He should sort that out. Might be an 18 month job really.

I don't normally bet any of the oddschecker stuff, but this seemed like it would provide a good sweat for the festival.

Basically it's for the Irish to have 15 or more winners this year, and the write up is below.

If the geegee afficionados don't hate it, might be worth flicking a score at it @ 9/1?

Feels a big ask to beat the all time record.  UK has favourites for gold cup, world hurdle, Ryanair, champion chase at a glance.  I can see they have the short priced favourites got the mares and champion hurdle which balances it a bit.  I still think I'd want to see them crushing more of the big race markets before betting on this.  Just feels punty to me.

Take back what I said, is probably good enough given he has done the stats like that.

Stop with this "flicking" nonsense, stop it right now.

It's £20. We assess, mull, consider, & then, ever so carefully, remove from our little leather wallet, carefully, one at a time, 20 crispy green one pound notes.

We don't flick.

Me posting a link to get on, instead of the write up didn't really help matters Cheesy
