Tighty, I suggest for Fred a £1 sell at 153 and a £1 buy at 77 (McLaren and Force India). You can book it on my account.

I certainly don't "sleep motorsport" this weekend because of the Australian time zone!!

Thanks all for the help with Sporting Index
I'm not going to join because I would be unhappy depositing a large amount until I have done more research - and I don't want a credit account.
However, McLaren under 153 points looks like an EPIC bet to me! If you fancy a bit more of a risk, Toro Rosso or Force India over 70 and 77 points respectively looks like it would be worth a bet.
Can't find any decent spots on the standard F1 betting markets right now.
As for the Formula E, the market is currently down - really not sure why??
Dips toe in water...
A v g friend of mine works with Force India and he thinks they will be very close at the end of the season (with McLaren). Any decent odds againt FI>Mc he likes and the spreads are miles apart whilch supports Peter a lot.
Are you able to name your friend? I know a few of the lads at Force India!

Personally, I'm really pleased to see you posting on this thread again.
Fred is very much richer for everyone who posts in a constructive manner.
You (and Neil) always seem to contribute in that way.
I struggle to understand the level of negativity that some people seem able to generate.
In my idealised world, everyone gets on and we win a few shillings from the bookies and have a laugh as we do it.
I realise that not everyone sees the world in the same way as me but, if they don't, they are free to abstain from this thread; no-one is obligated to post.
To my mind Tighty contributes a huge amount of effort on a daily basis. How he manages to sustain that level of commitment amazes me. He doesn't just post when the mood takes him, he posts a significant contribution (just about)
every day
.
Many other people contribute their insight for no obvious benefit to themselves.
No-one is obligated to bet on any tips posted here but you all gain, for free, a huge amount of insight from people who contribute their opinions at no cost to you.
Obviously, you need to be able to sift the wheat from the chaff.
This thread has provided a great amount of entertainment to many people as can be witnessed by the amount of views it has received.
I'm also fairly sure that many people have managed to make a nice profit from following their favourite tipsters.
It would be a huge shame if one or two negative people could ruin the fun of tens of people.
I've been drinking a bit.

McLaren finish bottom of Q1 and start at the back of the grid.

Peter makes a profit on F1 every season, he's very good indeed.
He's not alone in knowing F1 inside out though, Tighty & several otrhers also do the business for us.
We ought to do well in F1 this year if we can blend their selections.

Very kind of you Joe, thank you.
I'll leave Tighty to confirm.
Will that spread still be there, after the qualifying disaster McLaren had?
I'm not sure of the current protocol with spreads, I've not done them for 10 years, I used to have to settle up every Monday morning in arrears. Do you want me to send some cash across to cover this? Not a problem if so.

I opened an account with Spreadex, because Bazza put a Boxing bet up, that was best price on their sportsbook. I thought I had ticked the correct boxes to ensure I didn't get a credit account, and I would be able to just splash around in the sportsbook.
Shortly after I get an alert that my credit report has been searched, and I then find out they have set me up a spread account. I closed that down pretty lively, much to the disappointment of their customer service operator.
I'm dangerous enough when I know how much I'm spending on my bets

You can still have it (you are currently over 10 points in profit). It's on credit until the end of the season.

Don't get better than that - we get on late, we are in profit already, & we don't even have to pay up front.
You'd never make a bookie, Joe.
