Thanks all for the help with Sporting Index Smiley
..
As for the Formula E, the market is currently down - really not sure why??

Dips toe in water...

A v g friend of mine works with Force India and he thinks they will be very close at the end of the season (with McLaren). Any decent odds againt FI>Mc he likes and the spreads are miles apart whilch supports Peter a lot.

Are you able to name your friend? I know a few of the lads at Force India!

If you see me at a poker tournament come and chat and ask me. I don't think that I should post his name on here.

I used to have to settle up every Monday morning in arrears.

 Cheesy

Wink

It was most Monday's for sure.

The rules/laws must have changed since then.

I was with IG Index. Back then, (this would be, maybe, between 1995-2000?) to get an "unlimited" Account, you had to send a Bank Statement proving you were good for £25,000. Once you did that, it was done on credit, settle up every monday morning, (either way), in arrears so to speak.

I loved it, I thought I was Jack the lad.

It was not until they gave me a freebie weekend's golf at The Belfry, on the Brabazon course, with a "King Penthouse Suite", a free wardrobe of spanking new golfing gear, & a round of golf with Sam Torrance, that it dawned on me why they were lavishing such hospitality upon me. I eventually worked out that weekend had probably cost me about £30,000.

I shudder to think how much money I've wasted in my life one way & another. Now I'm a pensioner, scrimping & saving, lol.

My rear view mirror is really something, I can't help looking at it all the time.

OK, I gotta go, I have an article to write on the F1 Australian Grand Prix, for Sky Poker & SportingLife.com. Me, writing about F1? I know, I know, it's ridiculous. I might be a bit past it, but I can still 4 bet for England with a complete airball.

He eats, sleeps and ..... Motor sport, I can sense a big profit from Peter's tips this season.  No pressure Peter.

Peter makes a profit on F1 every season, he's very good indeed.

He's not alone in knowing F1 inside out though, Tighty & several otrhers also do the business for us.

We ought to do well in F1 this year if we can blend their selections.

{cough}

Hamilton pole in Melborne by 0.6 seconds.  Now 4/11 best for the Grand Prix.

Edit.  Think how much quicker he would have been if he was happy.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Such good news to see Mr Beevers back posting. I mentioned before that when I used to watch poker on TV he was one of my 2 favourite players - the other was Howard Lederer! What I liked about those 2 was that they seemed very thinky. My illusions were shattered a few months ago when I came across Mr Beevers reading a celebrity big brother thread on Blonde. I have now reclassified him from thinky to chavvy.

short of time today, i promised myself a day off

though Leicester v Hull is more tortuous than anythign else

anyway

aside from the racing, one loss yesterday £10 with erger not making the cut at the Valspar

other news yesterday

- Newport drew at homwe to Cheltenham 1-1, and are a point outside the play off places

- At Indian Wells after their first round byes Berdych plays Stahkovsky and Simon plays Jaziri this weekend

- At the Valspar Luke Donald is two shots outside the top ten at the half way stage. we make slightly more on the arb if he finishes top ten than if he doesn't

- Hamilton pulverised Rosberg by nearly half a second in Melbourne Qualifying

the pair were 1.4sec clear of the field

Amongst the other interests

- the force indias were slow, but hopefully will be reliable

- the Mclarens are slower, and hiopefully unreliable

- verstappen was outqualified by Sainz

- Ricciardo outqulaifed Kvyat

- and the red bull looked markedly slower than the ferrari and the williams for the vettel v ricciardo match bet

i need to catch up on the NBA but last night we had wins for the Mavericks, Raptors, Trailblazers and losses for the Bulls and Clippers

we must be close to a few bets concluding, will check after the weekend

today, a monster game in league one

Both on 50 points, Doncaster host Peterborough. We want Peterborough not to lose for the £220 match bet

Six Nations

full football programme

boxing

racing

tennis

golf

cricket world cup, just ahead of the quarter finals

tikay and his everr shrinking betting accounts will be your host for the day

Morning Mr T.

Tighty wrote up the Wales/Ireland rugby match on betpal and I am in agreement that the value bet is Wales to win by 1-12 points. Ireland are pragmatic and points and tries will be rare but I do feel that Wales have a better chance of scoring a try.

Suggest £20 on Wales by 1-12 points @ 15/8  with Hills.

Sorry if I lumped you with "others", Mr Bottas ledge, but it was early on a Saturday, & I was rushing. Bizarrely, I was up at 5am to watch Qualifying.

Lweis 4/11, Nico 3/1. Lewis is unbeatable, but 3/1 tempts.

Morning hector,

I'm not sure whether Joe Beevers will laugh or cry at your description of him.  Roll Eyes

Anyway, Tight has gone AWOL, thankfully only for the day, & has left me with the keys to the shop. A brave man, him.

I'll load up Wm Hill shortly & get that bet on.

Thank you.

If we dare to have a bet on a horse, I think Foxbridge should be a candidate in the Midlands National at 16-1. Seems to fit most of the trends quite well, the key one being to carry 10-9 or less. Goes on the ground. Trainer has a decent record in the race, so  although this is a much tougher jumping test you would hope he knows what is required. Cadeau George 25/1 another possible, closely matched with Foxbridge and 6 yr olds have had a decent record  in recent years.
The fav, though an obvious candidate, looks too short to me at 5/2 (McCoy factor and favs have had a poor record in this race) which I think adds a little value.
£5 e/w  on both?

Welcome feedback or other fancies.

I'm struggling already.

The 15/8 1-12 with Wm Hill is now 7/4.

Betfair Exchange go 2.94 under 12.5 points.

Which is better, or less worser?

I'm on the case Simon, be right back.

Need to juggle where I can get the best price, plus I need to re-deposit on some sites, as Tighty blew the lot.

On the case.
