PP and 365 have managed a 95% book between them on Group C.
6-4 Grosjean, 9-4 Maldonado, 13-2 Hulkenberg, 8-1 Perez.
Needs playing obv if someone can get thread on.

Min bet on Hulkenberg to top "Group C" looks like a good idea to me. 13/2 with Bet366InALeapYear or 10/3 with PatrickPower
Been waiting for you to throw some nice prices about
13/2, on it. Thanks.
There really isn't much value available this weekend. Struggling to find anything else, but I keep checking every hour or so :-)
Hi Peter,
I just watched the Miami E-Prix, only my 2nd time ever watrching an E-Prix. Can't say it grabs me by the scruff of the neck, but maybe it will grow on me with time.
Also, as promised, my debut - & most proably swansong - as a writer on F1 matters. Hopefully, there are not too many errors in there. It's only on SkyPoker.com at the mo, it will be on SportingLife.com shortly. (Less spam, more words).

Why did you call Red Bull, Renault? Old Renault are now Lotus, who have a Mercedes engine

Don't confuse me. If that's the only error I made I'll be chuffed to bits.

That's not too bad given that there has only ever been five of them!!
Nice little preview article, although there are a few errors!
First of all, the Mercedes engines do have design input from Stuttgart - although most core F1 fans don't realise this, so I'll let you off that one
Also, on your "The Big Five" section, you're mixing up engines and constructors - Renault are not a team any more, they became Lotus.
Enjoyable read though

Kovalev v Pascal
I like Pascal by decision at 9/1.
No doubt about it Kovalev is a big puncher, however I see Pascal fighting a smart fight with lots of movement. This will frustrate Kovalev, chasing Pascal round the ring for 12 rounds throwing at air... Pascal will throw punches in bursts with his un orthodox style, he has a proven chin after going toe to toe with Froch a number of years ago.
Pascal being the home fighter in Montreal where not many travelling fighters get a decision, I think Kovalev can only win by knocking Pascal out. The reward for Montreal and the local boxing fans should Pascal win would be a unification fight against who other than Montreals Adonis Stevenson. 2 hometown fighters fighting to unify the division.
The Kovalev v Stevenson fight is a lot less likely to happen with Stevenson signing with Al Haymon and Showtime and Kovalev working with HBO. The Mayweather v Pacman is a one off, I don't see HBO and Showtime making this a regular business move.
Being a huge boxing fan and seeing how corrupt it can be I see an edge in Pascal getting the decision should he stay on his feet for the 12 rounds.
Apologies for this one... I thought he was good value at the price... ultimately Kovalev proved to me tonight that he is the best in the division by a country mile... devastating with both hands and he proved he can take a shot!! big credit to Pascal... he shown huge balls but unfortunately balls don't win you fights...
Hopefully better luck with my next one

Lweis 4/11, Nico 3/1. Lewis is unbeatable, but 3/1 tempts.
if you're tempted bet at 5/2 ew with Hills who are 1/3 1.2 which beats Patricks offer of 3/1 with place odds 1/4.
25/1 bar Lewis and Nico makes it a great bet.
You can argue all day about whether Nico is value at 3/1 to win, but he sure is value at 5/6 to hit the top 2. The real price must be about 1/5? I was discussing the e/w Nico on the championship the other day which is a similar thing.
Can't be too long before Hills wise up.
That was a big +1 on the Hills bet if it wasn't clear.
Ha, I got the hint, even I got it this time, & was on straight away. (down to peejay, I think?).
We took £30 EW, Nico Rosberg, @ 5/2, with Wm Hill.
Can you assist me with Adzy's question? Seems to me the podiate market is skewed by two 1/8 shots, & its not a real market. Better to go the outright route, surely?
BET PLACED
You never mentioned Suzyyyyyy though. I'm hurting.
Sure that is good too. You could each way Bottas, Massa and Vettel and be very unlucky to miss. Think it works out a bit better than 1/2 and you get the lot if Hamilton and Rosberg have a moment. It has to be 3 places though. 1/2 not nearly as attractive. Any of the 3 is probably a good bet, so fine to just do Vettel.
Doobs gets the Trifecta up.
1st - Hamilton
2nd - Rosberg
3rd - Vettel
Shame I never got round to doing Vettel, as suggested, but never mind.
We got Rosberg home in 2nd, so we got a return there.

I'm not sure on that, Peter, it was a bit of an odd one.
He left the pits for the grid line-up, but suffered gearbox problems on his warm-up lap, so did not actually start.
So whether he was deemed to be "under starters orders" is a moot point.

It's worth arguing with customer support should they mark it as a loss. Although in F1 terms, that does count as a race start.
Hopefully some of you got on my Hulkenberg suggestion last night, made me a decent profit
I don't think TFT had time to get on though

Peter's Aussie F1 GP bets were......
How Many Force India cars wll be classified as finishers? - 2
. £15 @ 1.95 - that was a winner.
How many McLaren cars will be clasified as finishers? - None.
£20 @ 3.65. That lost, as Button trailed round & eventually got his car home in last place. Magnussen's McLaren exploded on the warm up lap.
Kvyat Top 6 finish
£10 @ 2/1. Well as we saw above, he never actually made the grid, so I'm unsure.
Kyvat Top 3 finish.
£5 @ 16/1. See above.
Verstappen Points finish
. £10 @ 15/8. Little unlucky this one, Verstappen was running nicely in 6th or 7th when he had to retire with engine problems.
Bottas P1 Winner.
£5 @ 18/1. Think this was a loser, Rosberg was fastest in P1.
So we may get our money back as a non-runner on Kyvat, we shall have to see.
On to Malaysia.

I don't generally get into debates with Customer Support Peter, especially as I want to keep that Bwin account "sweet & clean", we'll accept what they say, but we might just get the nod, fingers crossed.
Well done on Hulky, though no, Fred never got on, I was too tired last night & shut the shop so to speak.
Well done, keep them coming.

I've never been an F1 fan, but interest been stirred from reading posters here... Great insight from Peter in particular!
Shouts to Doobs and Adzy for their bets this morning also

Lweis 4/11, Nico 3/1. Lewis is unbeatable, but 3/1 tempts.
if you're tempted bet at 5/2 ew with Hills who are 1/3 1.2
which beats Patricks offer of 3/1 with place odds 1/4.
25/1 bar Lewis and Nico makes it a great bet.
Nico 2nd @ 5/2, so we get most of our money back, & were freerolling the win, well done.

Tighty, I suggest for Fred a £1 sell at 153 and a £1 buy at 77 (McLaren and Force India). You can book it on my account.
Excellent start for these, thanks Joe.
McLaren failed to score a point.
Force India scored 6 + 1 = 7.
