I see stoke are > evens (again) to win at home against a team that are worse than them. This time against Palace. I am struggling to see what the bookies know differently that makes them that price.
always fearful of putting anything prem related up but surely this is a bet and possibly a big one too.
any comments??
Don't ask questions. Gift horses and mouths spring to mind. Are they bigger than 6/5 now then? They were 6/5 earlier.

Shame Huybrechts couldn't get it done for the ice creams...
Was thinking about you after the first two games. Was hoping power and Barney might play out another bent prem league draw for you.

Took that one out, and went with the other 4 matches

Tikay's been spending his last show on channel 861 asking people to vote robin.
Need him to do it on Tuesday when he's on Sky Sports.
Or maybe he can get on Sky Sports News, bundle Jim White into cupboard and take the seat next to Natalie Sawyer.

Surely this is set up for a Twitter campaign? Looks a perfect spot to tweet our way to a bit of a coup.

Wouldn't it be better to back the total rag of the field and then set up a twitter campaign for that rather than on a 4/7 poke? Think it is a great idea btw.

My standards are slipping, my greater interest was in the pun rather than maximising EV. Arboy makes a very good point.

MAX bet time, or as much as betty sportsbook will take.
Robin is 1/2 with Coral, 5/4 from 2/1 with Mountains, but still 2/1 with Betty Sp.
Should be long odds-on imo.

6/5 with Puppy power. Fred can get on at 23/20 with Billys. I have read that 6/5 is the standard price for a home team when the teams are evenly matched, so I reckon 23/20 is still value by a long way here. I'm still a bit reluctant to put this up as a recommend; I do not have the stats to hand that the bookies have, but Stoke have been formidable at home. Maybe they are having a ManU type season where their stats do not reflect their results so they are continually being overpriced.
Anyway I've only had £20 in the end and recommend the same for Fred

Blackpool v Leeds
2 out of 30 points for Blackpool, season is over and are now the whipping boys up against Leeds who are playing some decent stuff. I don't think think I could have Leeds odds against and in a couple of places they are better than EVS. Expecting that as soon as Leeds score one that if it's early enough it will just open the doors too, so some handicap selections too.
Victor are 21/20 - I would suggest a chunky bet, but think £50 for Fred. Would happily back at EVS.
Leeds -1 - 3/1 (Victor, SportingBet)
Leeds -2 - 9/1 (Victor, Paddy)
*gulp*
I don't want to go on about Blackpool being the whipping boys, but those Leeds boys are in some form, no 1-0 wins, some good solid results with that ball hitting the net a good few times. I am confident Leeds will win, I could also see Leeds giving Blackpool a good hiding. You might chuckle, but look at these prices....
Leeds 5-0 (175-1)
Leeds 5-1 (150-1)
Leeds 6-0 (500-1)
Leeds 6-1 (475-1)

Thanks Aaron.
Personally, I'm a low variance type of guy, & if 21/20 is a good price, I'd stick with that, rather than chase the rainbow. Not saying they are bad bets, I have no idea of the math, that's just how I think, keep it simple, take it down, move on.
