Ireland win by 30 (and missed 9 points from kicks in the second half)
Lead England by 26
go 1/4 outright for the Six Nations
a final twist to come?

Just a few thoughts on this race. I've a few doubts on the riders at the head of the betting.
Kristoff, certainly on form, could be argued he has peaked too early in the season (we'll see I guess). Will be difficult to repeat last years win, with predicted weather not too bad. Will be heavily marked, & team could get overpowered in the last 50km, certainly needs Paolini to be there on the descent of the Poggio & the run in to Via Roma.
Sagan, despite a win in Tirreno, I'm not convinced he is in top class shape yet. His chances look better for Flanders imo.
Cavendish, his recent illness doesn't fill me with confidence. Etixx options with Stybar & Kwiatowski could split any team focus for Cav. I guess they decide on the road how Cav is feeling.
I see atleast another half a dozen decent candidates for top three. Degenkolb, Cancellara, Matthews, GVA, Greipel & Cimolai.
Personally, I've focused on Matthews. Really impressed with him & the OGE performance in a few stages in Paris-Nice. Certainly the team will be focused on him. His two past attempts have been a 107 & 78, but he's young & learning what it takes in the big classics to compete. Matt White, the DS, has a happy nack of tactically getting the best out his riders in this race. I got 25/1 earlier in the week. Around 20s best now.
Love to hear other thoughts from the Cycling bods....

Top scorer Suarez won PFA award last year. That was something special though.
In the four years before that, Bale won it twice, Rooney somehow won it and Van Persie won one.
Suarez and Persie scored 31 and 30 goals in those seasons so probably couldn't be ignored.
Bale was never out of the media and is British.
Rooney won it in a season where Drogba was top scorer with 29 goals and Man United finished second.
2 goals behind Costa, 1 behind Aguero in the race for golden boot in the premier league is Harry Kane. I can't remember the last time Aguero scored. Was that Costas first goal in a while? Kane has sure caught up fast.
Media has bigged him up for a while as the future of England.
Does any market look good?
9/2 top goal scorer.
10/1 pfa player of the year award in a market which is lead by Eden Hazard, player of a team that the media is against right now, a sugar daddy club who maybe the rest of the players from the 91 other clubs that vote for the player of the year don't appreciate.(That part is prob a load of shit but whatever) He's young, he's worked his way up from the bottom, being on loan at lower league clubs.
In my opinion both look big odds but I would like someone to put me off putting more money on
Great hatrick!

He talked himself out of it,he was so convinced Costa was a banker at 5/4. Aguero could have had 4 today at least.
Cheers for the heads up on pfa though at 10/1

I asked to be convinced not to pile more on Kane, ended up with a saver on Costa but didn't pile more on Kane, all thanks to Larry.

As per Blonde forum etiquette, a little smiley goes a long way
It can be quite hard to keep up with what you guys want to be on. Were you hoping for Harry Kane to bang in a lot of goals in the next month or did you think a lower goal tally than normal would be enough for a striker to win the PFA award?

I read it that ex was all over Kane, but wanted to hear arguments against.
Larry gives it loads (against Kane), and then aftertimes the 10/1 poke when Kane hits a hatrick in the next game.
Almost forgot...

If you look back I was all for Aguero, a Costa saver makes little sense as you are disregarding Aguero for no reason, however I said I wouldn't put him off the PFA bet one bit. I couldn't understand why he was 10/1 and sanchez 6/1.
