Pat Kelly 10/1 ew for this heat is a cracking ew bet at 1/4 odds.  Recommend £50 ew

Obviously the make up of the event makes this a great ew bet esp at 1/4 odds.  It is basically a tipping competition amongst the presenters of the 5 times a week (channel 212 on sky) dog channel.  It is running from Jan 1 to Dec 31 2015.  Pat Kelly is the best judge of all of the presenters on this channel and the only one who makes betting pay long term imo.  He is the Hove RP writer/tipster and the Hove course commentator.  The vast majority of the rest of the field are just RPost writers/commentators who just stick a pin in every week and don't take this too seriously.  You can tell Kelly would really like to win this for his own ego which is a bit factor in the bet.

The current leader Meek works for corals doing shop comms as his main job.  He is pretty clueless and a guesser with no real betting brain when it comes to value.  He is currently showing a level stakes £20 profit on the year so far.  The guy in 2nd has around £10 profit and openly admits he is a clueless punter but is a comedy anchor for the show to provide entertainment to the casuals who watch. Kelly is +£3.  All the other runners are already showing a loss for the year.  Half the field is effectively out of the contest already imo.

There is no link to show the current table but they occasionally show the naps table updated on a week by week basis on the show.

I backed Kelly quite large at the start of the event at 5/1 and this ew spot is an even better bet imo at 1/4 odds.  These prices haven't been updated by Ladbrokes since last night's show when Kelly landed his nap and next best bets on the show to close the gap and go into a clear 3rd in the table.

ok this is a new one on me

it is a ladbrokes only market, and i did not expect to be laid £50 e/w on something unique to them

we weren't

Will do.  7/1 now as we speak.  Didn't take them long to move off your £10 tighty!  Def still a bet at 7/1 just less of an edge.  I wouldn't want to lay 7/4 about him placing in top 3.

Ladbrokes have introduced a new market

Find the labour landmine

the blurb explains

http://news.ladbrokes.com/politics/find-labour-landmine_232466.html?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_content=sports&utm_campaign=politics&hootPostID=06534ae14a925f289e2bbd92f4302f7f

there is a real sweet spot here that i think we should take advantage of

Worcester and above sees Labour second to current odds on shots

below Cannock chase sees Labour odds on/or evens each of two

taking the five that i am interested in....

cannock chase is a proper marginal currently priced lab 11/8 con 15/8

renfrewshire east is murphy's constituency, polled by ashcroft with snp ahead a fortnight ago and SNP 10/11. we can probably exclude this

birmingham yardley is lab evens lib evens and we are on LD: incumbency of a popular local MP. we can exclude this

harrow east labour 4/5

stockton south labour 4/5

obviously it is not beyond the realms of possiblity that one on the list above cannock chase goes labour but the chances are that the winner of this market will be one of

cannock chase
renfrewshireeast - snp likely
yardley - ld we hope
harrow east
stockton south

the chances of at least onel of the five not going labour is remote in my opinion

16-1 the field

suggest fivers on cannock chase, harrow east and stockton south

would be surprised if the winner was below this grouping

we are getting the same price on some of these which we can probably rule out such as brighton pav where the greens are 1/3 sheffield hallam/clegg, bermondsey/hughes etc

http://ukpollingreport.co.uk/2015guide/labourtargets/ has labour marginal targets

look around number 50 for these constituencies

labour currently forecast to win 45 or so on poll of polls

Rather back him at 15/8 to win Wimbledon imo.  He is 13/8 on bf for Wimbledon.  Not sure if any firms will lay you a double on him winning the French and Wimbledon at their current prices?  He will probably go off close to odds on for Wimbledon if he gags up in the French.

Needs to get back on those roids asap before the French.

We really should be backing Djok at 15/8 with sportingbet for Wimbledon.  Assume our lovely friends at sportingbet still lay us a bet?  Would rec a lumpy double at 11/10 and 15/8 for the French and Wimb if you can get on at those prices.

He was beaten in Barcelona by the enigmatic Fognini

only the third time in 11 years he has not won the tournament

all the 5/4 Djok has gone, a few bits and bobs of 6/5 11/10 around

Nadal stays world number 4. Nishikori gets to wiithin 110 points of the 4 spot in the world rankings if he wins this week

if we don't think evens+ djok is value for roland garros, and its 25-1 bar two...

who is the value?

Related, so won't lay a double at any of the three I tried...
