Post-qualifying bet suggestions:

Top Six Finish: Sergio Perez @ 13/8 with SkaiBet and DaddyPower. Sergio starts 7th, he needs one retirement ahead really. With the exception of his team mate, there is little threat from behind. Suggest £25 in total (be wary that I have suggested this bet previously, you guys might already have money on it).

Group D (NAS/ERI/BUT/ALO): Marcus Ericsson @ 5/4 with Get365 and WilliamMill. Bit confusing to know who starts where tomorrow with 10 penalties for 7 drivers. I think Nasr starts 11th, and Ericsson 13th. Marcus should be considered the favourite over his team mate due to his previous F1 experience round this track more than anything. Suggest £20 (if you're not on it already). Interestingly, I think it's Will Stevens who splits the two Sauber's in 12th - his best grid spot ever.

Podium Finish: Valtteri Bottas @ 6/1 with CaddyPower. Good price, especially given Mercedes reliability concerns. Worth a fiver.

Tighty, I like your idea from before, where was the market to bet on "the field" at 7/1?

For others (not TFT, who don't have Cwin), these two markets provide some value also:

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/italian-grand-prix/mercedes-double-points-finish -> NO. I'm putting on £10.
http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/italian-grand-prix/mercedes-total-finishers -> No Car. I'm putting on a cheeky £2.50.

the only one of these i can do is group d

and the best price is now evens

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/italian-grand-prix/group-d

I'd still do it at evens.

Bottas podium is 6/1 with tonnes of bookies right now:

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/italian-grand-prix/podium-finish

ok if you tell me paddypower as a recommended place i don't investigate further.

Valtteri Bottas (Wil) Italian Grand Prix Podium Finish
13/2
Total Stake: £5.00
Potential Returns: £37.50

that was betvictor

A profit on the day - well done lads, & a full Tighty report, photos & everything, thanks Rich.

Can you summarise our Monza F1 positions please?

Thought the dismissal of Stokes was a bit naughty. I hope such antics don't creep into Test Matches. It's ok in pyjama stuff I guess, but not in the real game please.

Tightly what were your thoughts on the stokes dismissal?

I'm not Tighty, but I am a qualified cricket umpire (for your league, actually!) and I wouldn't have given it. He's taking evasive action IMO.

by the letter of the law he's out, but full speed he has 0.3 seconds, if intentional, to react and deflect the ball.

its then a bit of a mockery to throw the decision to a third umpire who reviews the decision in slow motion and decides from there

review it at full speed and see if he meant it. He didn't.

Exactly. Should line the umpires up 5 yards away and see how they react when the ball is thrown at them.

Thought it quite ironic, considering the umpires/ICC are due to debate on umpires wearing protective clothing, as 22 yards away the batsmen are too close to injuring them smashing balls at them.

We won't be dancing till the new guy comes in. And looking at the list, it could be grim:

Was hoped for. More than the premier league glory hunter fans could ever believe.

Wouldn't take much notice of this Glenn, just the usual bunch of suspects they'd roll out for any L1 job at the moment, with the exception of Scotch-Fry-in-waiting obv.

Darragh makes some very left-field choices when it comes to managers. Pat Fenlon was his first choice last time round.

Please give us a Dean Smith, Paul Tisdale or Brian McDermott. One time!

Ticks a couple of boxes does Flitcroft. Young, northern. Darragh seems to think Peterborough is in the north, as that's where 90% of our players come from. Macclesfield, Hartlepool etc.

Also...

"During his marriage, Flitcroft had two affairs, one with a nursery nurse and the second with a lap dancer. After a disagreement with one of the women, the media began to pursue the story, so Flitcroft took out a High-Court injunction, banning media coverage of the affairs.[5]

"After a long legal battle, during the 2001–02 season Flitcroft was unmasked in the newspapers as having had two extramarital affairs."

Mate of mine has requested prices for Curnishley and McDermott from the Scuy rofflers. Be interesting to see what they come up with. Would guess it'll be the standard 33-1 for each.

Both Mercs have been called to the stewards for low tyre pressures.

Peter, any idea on what might have happened and what could happen if found to be true?

This is very disappointing, the lack of bookies we can get on with is really hampering us .. I personally made a profit of £226.24  Sad

Just gone up. 20's for McDermott, 33's for Curbs.
