When was Posh's greatest ever era then before this team?  I wouldn't have a clue.  I had a mate at school who went every game in late 80's.  Think they were half decent in that era.

Time for a flick on Poshies goals v Southend at the weekend.

Logic quite simple, Southend have lost a wheel, losing their last three matches 0-4, 0-3 and 4-2 to lesser opponents than they'll face this weekend.

Poshes have the best squad ever assembled in the history of the club. Two players will go for eight-figure sums in the future imo, and neither is Conor.

Rec £30 over 3.5 Posh goals at 7-1, couple of spots.

nowhere to go on this i am afraid

coral limited to £3.60

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/league-1/peterborough-v-southend/total-home-goals

I'll give you £15 of it, if you like?

God the game has improved Tony Philliskirk Smiley

Think one of the biggest factors in so much money at top level is the players who not only play in league 1 now but spend most of their careers there, standard so much better

Good to see Nick Goff restricting fred evening Nick, grow a pair Smiley

Best previous squad was...

Only coz I was asked you understand. Dominic Iorfa, father of a current Championship player, something of a Posh legend. Once apologised over the tannoy for missing a tap-in.

Quick question - I watched Man Utd at the weekend and they looked awful to me, completely clueless going forward.

They play Newcastle this week.

Newcastle are 4/1 with Billy.

I know Newcastle are hardly world beaters but 4/1 ? Looks big to me.

Grateful for opinions.

I like this. 4/1 is still available too ( betfair is 7/2). BMU are also 2.125 for Newcastle +0.5 AH for those who want a lower variance route. I prefer this as a draw (0-0 or 1-1) seems quite possible. Whatever your play, I think Utd are far too short given their problems in front of goal. 5/6 away from home, to quote arb " is about 1/5 if they were at home"

Another game that feels, dare I say it, wrong is West Ham to win at Bournemouth. Not for Fred but 14/5 with bet everyday beats betfair. I would rate the hammers with Payet a much better side now than Bournemouth so would expect Bournemouth to be north of 6/5. They are best priced 11/10. Is there any team news I've missed? It just feels like an over reaction to the Afobe signing ( how good is he??) and Valencia being doubtful.

I like the 4/1, but Betfair are 5.1/5.2 just now.  Is be happy with the 4/1 too.
