Curtis quoted saying yesterday he is happy to move aside at anytime for the veteran coach. Probably be just in time though

Morning Tighty.

In the Aus mens tennis tonight there is a match that I think could have an upset. Robredo is facing Malek Jaziri. Neither player is exactly a world beater and neither of them have played enough this season to know if they are in any kind of form. They have never played each other before so we have little to go on. However Jaziri did get to the 3rd round here last year, and add that to the uncertainty of Robredo being in form, and the 11/4 is big enough for me to have a dabble.

Suggest £15 Jaziri @ 11/4 with Ladbrokes.

Thanks Hector, I'm going to add that bet to my list.

Hector or other tennis fans. What to you think of the chances of Birmingham's Dan Evans tonight against Lopez? He impressively came through three rounds of qualifying and his confidence on the courts will surely be high. Lopez is seeded 18 but has had very dodgy/bad form since the US Open. He made the 4th round last year but had some scrapes against players who he was a big favourite against. Maybe I'm being overly patriotic but I think this is a good bet.

Evans is 11/4 in a few places, thoughts? Anyone want to talk me out of it?

Latest PremierLeague odds

Man City - Evens
Arsenal - 6/4
Leicester - 16/1
Tottenham - 16/1

http://btfr.co/PremOutright

Shelvey to Newcastle✓
Afobe to Bournemouth✓
Naismith to Norwich✓

Who's going down? (sunderland and norwich please)

Odds: http://bit.ly/PLdrop

I have to say I think Norwich are overpriced for the drop at over 2/1.  Think Newcastle will spend their way out of it and Big Sam has got Sunderland improving.

Do Norwich really survive 70% of the time we run it?

Hate to say it as well, but if Watford lose tonight and don't beat Newcastle Saturday then 50/1 will look huge given the run after that.  The lads look fatigued after very little squad rotation.  A couple more wins kill it though and the run in is West Brom/Norwich/Villa/Liverpool/Sunderland.

Last Big Bash league game of the season, before they go into the play-off's. Melbourne Renegades need a big win to boost their net-run rate in order to make the top 4, so that has to be noted when you're considering a bet in this game. The bet I think is good value is Ludeman to beat Cooper in a batsman matchbet. It shouldn't be hindered by the need for The Renegades to take more risks than normal, if anything it could be beneficial as Cooper will have to really go for it when Ludeman can play his natural game.

Korral have a batsman matchbet (number 1), Ludeman (Strikers) at evens v Cooper (Renegades) at 4/5. Ludeman has been in fine form lately, his last 4 innings being 57*, 57*, 30 and 26. In contrast Cooper has spent very little time at the crease due to being their usual number 7 batsman. He's been promoted to open when Finch and Wade have gone on intentional duty, and he's had scores of 1 and 25. Over their career's Ludeman averages just over 30 compared to Cooper, who averages under 24. Another positive is that The Strikers have bowlers who've been in the wickets like Rashid and Laughlin, where as The Renegades have been struggling to take wickets at a regular rate this tournament.

So on current form Ludeman looks the better shout, his career stats are more consistent and he's facing the weaker attack of the 2. Can't see why Ludeman isn't favourite. Makes even less sense when they have Ludeman o/u 22.5 runs, and Cooper o/u 20.5 runs. Obviously variance for T20 is high, but seems worthy of an interest. No oddschecker link I'm afraid.

If anyone was on, Ludeman got 49, Cooper out first ball for 0. If only it always went this well! :-)

I'm in today!

I see you pointing these out all the time, no idea what the best way to get involved is but we have a combination forecast 4/5/6 and a couple of quid on 5.

Go wides!
