Price has now changed.

Are you saying that, because you had a different opinion about the match, the thousands of other sharp minds were all wrong?

No i am saying why was it evens all week everywhere then at kick off it is suddenly 11/8 when there has been nothing remotely significant happen to justify such a change on the day of the game.  One of the prices had to be wrong.  8% swing in the likelihood of arsenal winning.

ps - they were right they got the loot.

might have been the news of the giroud ankle injury in late week trainign that broke in the hour before kick off?

he played, didn't look fit before the sending off.

edit and the hope/subsequently quashed that alexis would start

Was the Sanchez news that moved the price imo.

That doesn't explain a move of 30 spots from 2.1 to 2.4.

Maybe/probably it was because people were backing other stuff over the weekend, and therefore kept their powder dry until today.

Nail on head.  That is my point.  Nothing changed.  The reason the price moved was weight of money not change of circumstances hence creating a 'wrong' price.  Arb agreeing with adz shocker.

Plenty of that going on at Talbet.

Shame about the overround, tho... Particularly on the Liverpool games.

I was expecting "the pass wasn't straight and that meant the ball was at a 30 degree angle when anything more than 20 is a risk..."

Didn't realise the Charlie Nicholas Book of Stating the Blooming Obvious was printed in the States.

Re: Irish dog tracks

I was at Shelbourne Park last Sat for a night out and the bookies on the rail wouldn't have any prices up until the dogs were already walking towards the traps.

Of course when the odds came up they were lol prices, apart from one race where, as soon as the prices went up, 2 guys pounced on two  bookies, money in hand. They weren't quick enough to beat the dry wipe marker though and were faced with a blank board once they'd run the 5 yards.

Meanwhile us skill punters pinged a couple of tricasts of the Tote [/aftertimer]

Got a horrible feeling that the Patriots are going to find a way to win here.

Pats by 3 i reckon in OT.  So the vegas books get middled for sucking in the pro +3.5 cash to 'balance' their books!
