Anyone fancy laying 1/5 Iceland not to make the quarter finals? 4th lowest ranked team in the competition; only fiver players playing in europe's top five leagues, and only one of them really making an impression (sigurdsson). Stumbled over the line in qualifying with draws against Kazakhstan and Latvia and a loss to Turkey in their final three games.

That's the price we can get dutching them to go out at the group stages (Portugal, Austria, Hungary) or round of 16.

I know Arb loves a shortie, any thoughts on this?

Having a look at Wales for the Euros

Wales scored 11 goals in 10 qualifying games, 7 of which were against either Israel or Andorra and they are drawn in group B with England, Russia and Slovakia

England conceded only 3 goals in qualifying, Russia only 5 in a qualifying group that contained Austria and Sweden

Slovakia is where it gets a little more messy, they conceded 8 in 10 qualifiers and 3 of those goals were scored by Spain but they did allow 2 vs Luxembourg.

I think that 364 have this about right at 14/1 so at 16/1 I think theres some wiggle room in there with BMU

Rec £50 No Welsh Goalscorer at 16/1 with BMU

thoughts please

Really like this bet.  Offers a little value when using the stats to back up the prices.

Hate to say it, but i really like this bet as well.

What do people think of shit Andy Carroll Zlatan as top goal scorer.

Playing in a tough group but first game is vs Ireland. Zlatan is a bit of a flat track bully and could make hay in this match making this a good trade option. 'Best price is 33/1 in a few spots, but you get 40s OTM. Seems his price is based on Sweden being poor with a tough draw but he could potentially blow the golden boot open after the first game?

I'm not sure about this one - Ireland got through a tough group including Poland & Germany only conceding 7 goals (least conceded in the group). Don't think it's much of  a flat track for Zlatan who I rate highly.

Nice to see my mate's lad, Callum Shinkwin, one golf bat behind that Rory fellah in the Irish Open    .....   a good little amateur boxer when he was younger too.

Watford sportsmen on the up this year!

This scoop malarky is a young man's game.

Still two hours to go in day one and I'm falling asleep here.

Morning Tighty.

This afternoon at the ATP Nice Joao Sousa plays Mr Scrabble ( Zverev ). The bookies have Zverev as favourite and I am tempted to put up Sousa as the tip, there is very little between them and Zverev has had two 3 hour matches in the last 2 days. Sousa is a bit enigmatic but is capable of winning low level ATP tournaments when things fall right for him. Looking at some other markets for this match the bet I am going to suggest is for the match to got to 3 sets. 4 of the 6 matches these 2 have played at this tournament have been 3 setters and one of the others was a retirement. Ladbrokes are out with their price in this market.

Suggest 3 sets in match £ 15 @ 6-4 with Ladbrokes.

does anyone have any thoughts post draw on the French opens?

outright? quarter betting? single matches?

federer is out, monfils is out....djokovic has been beaten a few times recently..murray as low as 5/1 to win it

djokovic and nadal in the same half.

in the women's...wide open as this era seems to be?
