Usually nfl markets full of value this opening weekend?
not much suggested I can see
I was looking for an hour and a half this morning. There's not much value about. They've been very stingy.
JJ Nelson anytime for Cardinals tonight is 13/1 on Pp compared to
at other places. No guarantee he gets on the pitch at all. But big difference in odds
Wouldn't go nuts on that; the Patrick Parr account is worth more than one rick.
Clearly good though.
Would add two stats for the game: Larry Fitzgerald is on 98 career touchdowns and John Brown has scored a touchdown in each of his two season openers.
Was more pointing out the discrepancy than suggesting a bet. As said he will probably only get 1 target max. However he's. Bloody quick so that may be all he needs

I really like him, even if he might only get one year with Palmer throwing him balls as a starter in 2017.
I expect him to get involved more this season. Teams have to be mindful of David Johnson through the middle so there's an argument the deep shots will be even more prominent. An injury to John Brown would make him an immediate threat too.

31 points for Tampa Bay tonight.
We need to average 22 points per match over the 16 matches, so a good start.
Elsewhere, China (population 1,357,000,000) took on the mighty chess nation, the Faroe Islands (50,000). This is what it has come to. At least they won 4-0.
Two photos from the event, which I have found on the official twitter site of the event...
1. World Champ, Magnus Carlsen, isn't playing for a team that can win the event, but he's still the man everyone with a camera wants to snap:

2. Fiorina Berezovsky has the steely glare perfected at a young age.

I should say Fiorina has a rating of 1096, which is above a beginner level but certain to improve quickly. She has played 3 games on board 4 so far and has managed to win one, against a 1700, which is a superb result. The future of chess in Monaco is bright.

No td for dalton unfortunately, jets d-line completely dominated and should have won the game.

With 8 of the 14 NFL games being won by the away team, is it fair to say that there is no real home ground advantage unless a) it's midwinter in the Northeast (GB, MIN for example) or b) It's Seattle?

I don't have any significant expertise in NFL, but that sample size looks way too small. It is about 3 points, and the seahawks only just scrape into the top 10

It's most unusual for me to suggest a bet on Arsenal to win for several reasons, including both my rose-tinted specs and the fear of bokking.
However I feel surprisingly confident about tomorrow's visit to Paris for the opening game of our CL campaign as they have had a poor start to their season, being booed off by their supporters after each of the last two games and semingly looking somewhat rudderless after losing their figurehead striker Ibra. I feel that we can do a job on them and get a result there and have taken some 7/2(4.5). I think 10/3 or better is a great price.
I recommend that our peripatetic punterer sticks £30 on Arsenal to win tomorrow @ 10/3 with ladyboys.

No wagg for Glamorgan in their game that started today, hopefully Hogan can capitalize with a few wickets and get a decent buffer.

Just putting this out there, and this covers the entire life of TFT:
I think you will find that six of my last eight football recommends have been winners.
All of them have been priced > 6/4 and a few > 3/1.
NONE of them have been placed/accepted, and one of those(7/2 winner opposing NFFC) was because of alleged bad grammar.
It's a campaign - a campaign I tell you.

The Arsenal thread appears to be locked as there's no "reply" or "quote" available.
Has somebody let Tikay tamper under the bonnet?

Seems fine to me, Ralph.

Thanks for the response Doobs - one I probably didn't deserve, since I hadn't put enough thought into it. Certainly interesting to see the average just under a field goal, although there's a fair amount of variation against the mean. I only flippantly mentioned Seattle since there was some media coverage (two seasons ago?) about the decibel level in their stadium breaking records.
However, although the author suggests otherwise, it seems to me there's some evidence that a number of Northeastern teams have significant home advantage edge (Baltimore, Minnesota, Green Bay, Pittsburgh & New England) that must be more than just coincidence - although I also note that the stats are for the franchise rather than by location. The Rams, Raiders, Colts and Saints have all moved - and they're just the ones I'm pretty sure about.
All of which means that, for the stats obsessed, there's little better than North American sport for tying yourself in knots...

In somewhat uplifting news the 4.5/7/2 has all gone on betty so peripatetic perambulatory puntering will be required in the morning should against all known trends my footie recommendation is accepted.
