Is this a joke? I final tabled last year and am selling at 1.0. The standard of this tourn will be slightly above that of the $50R on stars, believe me.

Good luck selling 60%.

lolz

Still my fave thread

Yes agreed - two top blokes going at it, comedy

You definetly didnt play this hand badly, you got it in with the best. In the long run you would beat the AQ a large majority of times. There are arguments about how to play the Kings:

If you just raise a large amount and let people holding AK, AQ, AJ etc.. see a flop, and they miss, you can move all in and if you have enough chips, get them off the hand without letting them hit on the turn or river. BUT, in most cases they won't hit on the turn or river anyway so it is best to maximise profit by getting all the money in pre flop.

The main reasoning for this is because if they don't hit on the flop they should fold to your bet and therefore you may not have made a lot of money out of your hand, therefore not playing your cowboys to their full potential.

If you have a short stack you should always go all in with the kings, if you have a large stack just a raise, and then leave the hand if you see an Ace on the flop.

Saturday was my second trip to DTD and was every bit as enjoyable (and profitable) as the first - the Blondes certainly added to the atmosphere  Wink

I'm not sure how much the bloke from Hale & Pace (I'm not good with names) added though...

The day my trip to DTD coincided with a Blonde Bash...

They seemed so pleasant and welcoming, I hadn't realised how drunk they were Smiley

Ship all the money to Dave 'Le Knave' Jones

After a 'steady' day one  - hes gonna rush for 8 hours taking Andy O'Flaherty out along the way (just to please ChipRich!)

Could someone do me a favour in Nottingham - just as Dave is reaching his chair - just say 'stfd' from me!!!!!

Le Knave FTW!

haha awesome mate! remember that so well, its been used ever since, eventually evolving to ''get urself fked off pal'' !

2 players in after the flop
Player A bets 2500 all-in but he has acted out of turn and the bet is returned to him.
Player B bets 2500 and turns his cards over before Player A has the chance to act!
Card Room Supervisor is called over for a ruling

Player A has the option to do what he likes, though in this case he obviously cannot raise as he has no more chips to raise with. If he wishes to fold he may do so.

Player B should technically recieve a warning/penalty here for exposing his cards, but this would be a little harsh given he clearly doesn't understand the rule.

If a player bets out of turn (whether the bet is all in or not) then the bet stands, unless there is an agressive action before him (opening a round of betting, or raising). If such action takes place he has the option to now fold, call, or raise. If the action before him is non-aggressive (check/call) then his bet stands.

In this instance Player B should have checked, which would of forced Player A to go all in.

What a surprise. A ruling thread lol

Napoleons in Leeds have a £10 re-buy if you like sitting in a haze of cigarette smoke without being able to move in any direction for hours. You also have the added excitement of the obnoxious behaviour of some of the regulars.

It's worth going once just to see everything that is wrong with UK casino poker concentrated in such a small space.

hello everyone.
been watching the forum for a few days and decided to register - it looks like fun   .  Been playing internet poker for a few months and might start playing live soon.  I live in essex - anyone know of any friendly lowish stake games around here? - i have a car and am prepared to drive up to 45 minutes.

be gentle with me, i'm a little shy
