ok just got a call from vodaphone offering me a free i-pad2 if i take out a contract with tem for £29.99 a month that will give me unlimited useage is this worth it?

i wasnt sure but apple is selling the ipad at £399 witout a contract so if its a 12 month contract i am getting the ipad for £360 but free 3g connection for 12 months
is this value or is there better offers out there?

seems a pretty great offer

i would be better off buying one for £400 notes then £7.5 a month for 24 months as most of time i would use one i would be on wifi rather than 3g and the £7,5 would give enough as a back up imho

Laptop tethered to a 3g phone - has always been available.

3G iPads are £500, the £400 machine is wifi only. Deal looks o.k.
Lad at work today said that Vodafone had offered him one for £25 a month though.
