I kind of feel the buzz that lifted the whole team when Ozil was bought has worn off now. We were playing with such intensity when he was bought because i think nobody wanted to let him down having come from Real Madrid! I'd snap settle for 3rd this season, no way can we win anything with Giroud up front and January won't provide any opportunities to buy a new striker, you know what Arsene is like in the transfer market.

Giroud out, and now even Nicky out, ignoring the fact we have lost Ozil! Ramsey and Rosicky for weeks.
The last statement I read was AW accepting the fact that we are woefully short up front but also saying "don't be too quick, let us just say we have two strikers injured"
Yes AW, well spotted. So no options left. Fairly clear to even the simplest of us this would happen......
Please spend.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Cavani/Benzema/Benteke even Berbatov would fill the space for now. All mean we do actually have to spend real money.
I would love to see Walcott given the role Pleno, whenever he has, he has v well.

Stop sticking pins in Rosicky Adz, he played the last half hour yesterday.

Cavani/Benzema - 0% chance
Benteke - maybe but not convinced, is he really a long term WC option?
If we sign berbatov I'll slit my wrists
We won't buy a stirker. We might buy a centre back if anything. We will probably finish 3rd but just being competitive to the end is a huge step in the right direction

I don't understand hate for Berba coming this window? He'd be worth about £2m which is peanuts today in football, and will do the job of being another option/back up for Giroud without hampering our chances of going for a big hitting striker when they become available in Summer. Spending £12m on a Benteke/Remy type player now is a waste of money and time for both parties when we'll only want them to play for half a season max.

LOL @ Wenger all over the press today expressing his surprise that Chelsea can sell Mata to Man U, as one of their main rivals.
Must be getting old if his memory is that short!!

Arsenal new boy Kim Kallstrom has suffered a back injury during his very first training session for the club.
You can't make it up.

thats not the case.
He injured his back on a beach in Dubai on Monday, on a pre-season Spartak Moscow tour
Arrived at Arsenal yesterday, told the club he felt discomfort
sent for a scan which revealed a back injury
