Playing this evening. Only chance this week, so keeping fingers crossed.

After day 1D of the Grand Prix we currently have 1709 players entered leaving 291 seats remaining for day 1e and 1f, only 116 available for Friday so please buy in ASAP if you wish to play as we WILL sell out!
This seems to imply a CAP at 2000. That's not the case is it? Just 2000 needed for the guarantee...?

Depending on the number of players making it through to day 2 we may have to cap the event, we can only take through a certain number as there is a cap for day 2. You're right it won't be capped at 2,000 but we may not be able to take many more than 2,000 so wanted to stress how close we are to selling out. In January we had to turn players away so want to pre-warn players how close we are. Giving players an exact figure is more effective than saying limited seats.

Everyone knows Tom from his role in the film, About A Boy.
While on the subject of film/TV stars, I noticed on Day 1a, a player called Damien Lewis went through - can someone please (please!!) tell me it is this one?
