This does seem a bit odd.  I don't see that there is any way he could've won that amount - if someone had been winning £4k a day for the last 2 years, I'm sure it would've been commented on - so he must have deposited it.  So why would someone want to do that?

Yes I suppose your right - someone has just sat down in the game 5 times a week for 2 years won his 2 pots in 10mins and left the table before anyone notices.
