The Irish Open 2012
«
on:
March 13, 2012, 04:52:11 PM »
Looking to play The Irish Open Main Event & two side events as back up (which hopefully wont play so will refund )
http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=39800
3500 euros main event + 560 six handed + 335 freezeout =4400
Looking to sell between 40 and 50 % of my action in a minimum of 5% blocks @ 1.25
So 4400 x 1.25 = 5500 so 10% = 550 euros 5% =275 euros
Ill sort pms out for those who buy, but with this tournament being in Ireland you can agree with your bank to actually transfer in Euros or we will agree an exchange rate so you can send £. Im in no rush for the money so Ill agree a date (probably next week some time ) and whatever Llyods bank exchange rate is will determine the figure.
Once Again...If youre interested please let me know...if not good luck to you
Cheers
Fraser

I would like to pay by Bank TX, in ££'s, at the prervailing rate.
Thanks!

@ 1.25
to help subsidise travel & hotel costs
What does this have to do with the value of the tournament?
I don't want to de-rail the thread but people shouldn't use this as a reason for justifying a markup. It basically means it's bad value for the buyer because they shouldn't be paying your expenses. Pretty sure Moorman, Bax, Sheets, Pleno1 and all the other big stakers don't give any of their horses money for such expenses.

lol Greeky, I give loans but don't "give" the money away.
If Fraser thinks his ROI is 25%+ then its fine to sell at 1.25, but ofc stakers shouldn't have to pay for the expenses too. There was recently a thread about this on 2p2 where some girl justified her expensive mark up because of expenses. She sold out and I assume Fraser will too.

By way of consolation, I still love you.

also nobody ever wins in Ireland. its clearly clearly rigged, even jake cody couldn't profitably sell at 1.25 in Ireland.

Fraser,
Please don't think it was a dig. Maybe I should have posted it in the staking discussion thread as I don't mean to deter buyers.
I know you're new to staking and perhaps you didn't realise charging within markup for expenses shouldn't really be done. I think you probably more modestly used that as a reason than using your edge to justify why you were selling at 1.25.
I have absolutely no doubt you are +EV at 1.25 and probably even more so I'm sure my comments won't stop you from selling out. I know you're a good guy with good intentions too so wish you all the best in the tournament.
I don't really have the money to be spending on staking atm but if you'll accept a 2.5% piece, I would like to buy a piece, to show I wasn't trolling and so that I can funk for you in the event.
Understand if you don't want to sell to me or in smaller blocks.
Genuinely wish you the best.
Regards,
The Molecule

Who'd have thought a molecule could also be a diplomat?
