Mitford makes it 150k
Maria to 400k, thinking it puts Mitford all in
Mitford calls, realises he has 50k behind, they agree it goes in on the flop:

Maria with
Mitford with
9's hold for Mitford to double

Before this all there seemed to be was raise/fold action

As this tourney comes with a £50k GTD prize pool, the no deals policy is in place
we are up all night with the players

Maria raises Grant pullens BB.

Her raise is 100K, Pullen has about 200K including the 40K BB already in.

Pullen says "I'm trying to work out if I'm pot committed. I've got two good cards here"

Chuck em in then says Maria.

Pullen possibly misunderstands and chucks his cards in, declaring Ace 7.

He then says to her "You looked pretty pot committed to my reads, I thought if I shoved you would have to call and didnt want to take the race even though I was ahead"

Maria smiles and flicks up her cards to show me AQ before mucking.

I often wondered what happened to that Ghandi...I mean he made one good film then you never see him again.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Continuing with the raise fold theme...

as we go round the table..

Jack makes it 100K in the SB, Pullen folds.

Pullen makes it 150K in the SB, Miutford folds.

Mitfords folds his SB, Willis gets a walk on his BB and find QUEENS

Next hand Maria bucks the trend with an UTG raise, the dealer started to count her chips and turned to announce 130K to the rest of the table, to find each player had already folded.

Normal service is resumed next hand with Willis raising from the button, Le and Maria folding.
