Dont know if this has been brought up previously on blonde but .....
Do you think we will see a million runner tourney on stars in the next few years?
What will the buyin/prize pool be?
How long would it take and what would the structure need to be?
Or is this just all fantasy for us small stakes lotto players  : )

1,000,000 runners is so many, i'd be surprised if it happened in the next 15 years tbh, internet poker has some re-building to do right now imo

^^ can defo see this happening within that time frame.
Do you think that online poker will be regulated by the Chinese and Americans in that time frame ? If so, surely this is not such a longshot.
Who's laying odds ?

C I don't think it's going to take that long I would lay 50-1 that it would happen in the next 5-10 years

a million runners tho? have stars ever even had 1,000,000 people online before? Whilst we're busy splitting up all the european countries as well so the french/spanish/italians and 100% a few more to follow suit and split away, not to mention the ridic pressure it would put on the servers, I honestly think it's near on impossible to happen in the next 10 years.

If, in the next 3 or 4 years the chinese poker market exploded globally, and they were allowed to play on stars.com and not make there own site (which, i think they're a lock to do btw) then i think it becomes defo more possible. The other market that will hold a lot of dominance in poker in the next decade will be the Brazilians imo, who I think are a LOT less likely to cut there payers of from international sites.

As things stand right now, pokerstars.com are the only site who could even consider this being the tiniest bit possible but million is just too much. I can defo seee 500,000 being achieved at some point in the next 5 or 6 years though, they've already done 200,000 and i think FTP managed that as well.

If they did it, it would be a tiny buying, $1 or something imo and I think it would be, as they say, a "crap-shoot" lol
