It's over

Baguley won 2 successive 1m+ pots,, limp pre, Baguley bet flop/call, Ahmed check/fold turn

Baguley then 450,000 on the button

Ahmed shoved 7m big blind

Call

Baguley A-10o

Ahmed J-7o

10-4-6-6-K

Iqbal Ahmed out 2nd winning £125,000

and the UKIPT Nottingham 2012 Champion is Robert Baguley winning £210,000

as the applause dies down, the voice of Danny Bell comes over the PA

"Seat for Robert Baguley in the £15 freezeout, seat for Robert Baguley"

Cos 15 is plenty and 30 would turn it into a month long event

Great story. Played with the winner a few times. Just goes to show anyone can win at poker.

So we're done

Pictures coming shortly

Robert is local, recently lost his pub business (a decision of the chain who owns it, I gather) and his only plan with the money so far is to go on holiday to Cornwall with his wife

Many congratulations to him, all who cashed, all who played, DTD and Stars. Great six days all round

Tighty, you must be disappointed it's ended so soon - I though you were just getting warmed up.
