Absolute tekkers mate. Dibs and baggsy are clearly on a par, and you're saving yourself an entire syllable meaning you've got way more thinking time. Dibs or baggsy cannot apply to calling the front seat of a car, though: strictly shotgun, as per the rules in Jamie's above post. The rules can get quite intricate, so we can't afford to confuse them at an early stage.
