1. The €200,000 Guaranteed Supersized Grand Prix

Days 1c-g start nightly at 5pm all week, late registration until 8.50pm

498 runners after two starting days, and looking like a big overlay.

Buy in is £100 with a daily re-entry allowed


Satellites are running through Thursday 26th

Hi guys. I don't know where to post this, but for those who didn't already know, Black Belt Poker are returning to DTD on August 10-12 for the Nottingham Live. The Main Event is $200+20 to enter and there will be the usual side events, cash games, and SNGs, as well as a £1,000 High-Roller on the Saturday. Check out the BBP site for more details.

I played it but I'm going to guess the main reason is it's just too expensive.

Obviously it has to be expensive because of the entry fee but folks just haven't got £100 to be spending too often.

These expensive sats are becoming more common as dtd have more expensive comps. I just don't think there's the money about to fund it all.

Also the big comps just aren't generating the hype any more.

There seems to be plenty of these events about so there's no need to throw all your efforts in to any one in particular.

comps have been running at 2x buy in for min cashes, certainly

Not sure about the top end, I'll look next major comp

Didn't bother loading laptop to even  look at 8.15 though as every sat I have tried to lately has been cancelled so I assumed no late reg or maybe just 10 minutes.

So not a level just a mistake, presumed no/limited late reg so just thought fuck it and watched the rugby. Apologies if I was wrong about late reg
