Think Neil Giblin put a 28hr stint that I know of but combined plenty of people played more hours I suspect. Carla did a huge session too, not sure how long, may be many others I don't know about.
Mitch Johnson was the big winner scooping an impressive £96,476 on the £2 ante win the button game in just over 12hours. Add that to the cost of the free food he consumed over the same period and he topped the 100k mark!

Might seem a stupid question but how do they limit for "No Pro's"?

From experience I'm sure that Skalie can spot a Pro from a distance.

The game is aimed at recreational players who have either never played or stopped playing. The reason it's called a "non pro" game is because I can't call it "players who are a bit shit" game.
Basically if you regular play higher stakes or a player whose ability is just way beyond that of the rest of the table you need to play on another table. Either one of my larger games or any other game the club has running. We are trying to protect some of the people who enjoy a game without the fear of the vultures circling them.

Poker has a handicapping system, it's called  blind levels. My priority it to create a more enjoyable game for people to play. Not to make sure there is an easy living for people to make.

Thanks for doing this Mr & Mrs Skalie. Hope it gets a lot of the recreational players who have stopped coming back to the club. Sod's law I'm away this weekend, but I'll be one of the "bit shit" players who'll be playing in this most weekends.

thumbs up
