If you stay in Vegas for more than say 2 weeks, the place really gets to some people. Having an apartment to get back to do more "normal" life stuff, i.e not eating room service every day, really has its benefits. If you are going there for any shorter I would recommend staying on the strip, as it is where the actions at. |

Great day today - not a hand of poker was played (at least not by Me, Mitch, Keith and Keys) as we spent the day cheering on england in Lagasse, then chilling at the pool, then went for a sick meal at the top of the Rio tower overlooking the whole of Las Vegas.
Had incredible Filet Mignon ($50 well spent) and then some drinks on the rooftop bar. Vegas can be so incredible when enjoying yourself not worrying or playing poker! More of that to come I hope.
Though feeling like I should put some hours in to pay for all of this - and with that in mind, having an early night so am well prepared for tomorrows $2500 WSOP event. Mitch is playing too, maybe Keys.
Stato arrives tomorrow also - he'll definitely help my EV increase in the food flips...[ ]

The palms place offers the best of both worlds. It's one of the 3 towers there and is also ideal for families as it does not have a casino.
