HERO :
this was the hand from a GUKPT satellite, 4 left with 3 seats. We are 4/4 atm and it folds to us with the huge stack in the bb. The guy in 3/4 was playing very bad satellite strategy and peeling the big stacks opens alot from the bb. Whats our shoving range here?
(assuming we dont have a raising range in this spot which i think is a fair assumption)
Do you shove tighter and hope the guy in 3rd does something spazzy at the risk of us blinding down? Whats our range?

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

This is a terrible range. Huge stacks tend to call way more than they should. If he just calls 10%, you'd be knocking yourself out 7% of the time. I'd far rather wait for the other fella to knock himself out. if that doesn't happen I widen, until then range is tiny.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Because youre expecting to get called v wide, JJ and AQ are so far apart in this situation it's not even funny. 88 is better than AQ here.

Im inclined to jam pretty damn tight here considering how bad 3/4 is playing apparently.

Whilst i completely agree, sometimes these need to be posted as the weakness of the 3/4 opponent is significant.
