Do you think that making it a re-entry tourney might have put a few people off too?

I reckon that helped numbers Ralph

Do you not think that some players are put off by the fact that all of the best players are effectively having two shots at getting a stack ergo making the tourney even more -EV for the recreational wagon?

My personal view is single re entry is fine. Would rather allow them to pump the prize pool if they want to as it effectively gives me better value for my single entry.  I dont mind one re entry same day but dont like multiple re entry as that starts to feel a little un fair.  The guys earlier flicking in 500 blind each to get a stack isnt right IMO.

Kurt Goodwin knocks out Ryan Moran and Frank Flanagan in the smae hand

Goodwin raises AJdd

Moran is short and takes a stab with 35hh

Flanagan shoves KQo in the big blind

Goodwin calls both

7-7-8-A-9 sees Goodwin flambuoyantly fistpump in front of him.

2 things for me have stopped me playing the 500 this month.
Firstly no day 1 on Saturday and secondly don't fancy playing for 3 days.

Having an hour clock is not necessary IMO, the 40min levels are plenty good enough.

Dreenie Nutt opens and Marty Frey calls

Dreenie pots it on the 10-4-K rainbow flop

Big bet on the Q turn

Shove the rest on the 8 river

No flushes possible

Frey calls with K-J off

He is good and Dreenie mucks/stands up/shakes her heads/guffaws simultaneously

I think she was hoping to push Frey off his hand. Good luck with that.

Frey is a happy bunny after the hand

An Aaron Brunskill update

He's doing well. Very well

Has north of 150,000 at 400-800 with about 80 minutes left to play

I have disturbing news though. News that probably explains much for members of both the Gambling Network and blonde poker forums

He is reading the Daily Mail. Has been all day. He is stuck on the "Femail" Page, reading an article about how many marriages fall apart as the male partner prefers to play golf than have sex

Aaron is about 19 years old, and looks 15.
