Where is the softest game going to be this afternoon (3-9pm) in central london for these kind of stakes?  Vic? Hippo? Empire? Elsewhere?  Closest decent game to Victoria station would be fine.  Not a London reg at all but down here for the weekend with the missus and she is busy til 9pm.

Thanks in advance.

For 2/5 any games at Hippo/Empire might not get going till this evening - for 1/2 all games are similar - Hippo is nicer than Empire (and I remember Empire regs being v annoying and smelly people). Hippo might have a deepstack 1/2 game going.

Choose Hippo.  Played in a great deepstacked 1/2 game where most punters were sitting at least £800 deep. 7 or 8 games running on a Saturday afternoon which was pretty good all 1/2 games some a lot deeper than the others.  Dealers great, valets great.  Did my nuts set over set to book a losing session.

Only weird spot was going to the cash desk to get a grand off my debit card which i assume in London is pretty standard. Cashier asked me to set my maximum daily limit for my card which i just casually said '£5k' not thinking it would be an issue. Casino manager called and forms to fill in including asking my occupation 'professional gambler' was my honest response which i didn't think would cause any concern which resulted in the manager asking to prove to me i was a professional gambler as he didn't recognise me or know me.  I said 'how many professional gamblers do you know in England and how would i go about proving to you i am and what difference does it make anyway as all i want to do is take some cash off my debit card'  He said its just company policy sir for debit card transactions of £1k or higher.  He said i will only be able to authorise a £2k max withdraw from your card daily because you can't prove you are a professional gambler.  Totally weird situation which i have never encountered before in any UK casino when withdrawing cash from my debit card.  If you do go in there to use your debit card i would probably suggest doing it for less than a grand to avoid this issue.

 ty for your responses.
