Didn't watch any of the game, heard we could have won it so disappointed!

Twice now our first halves have been pathetic.

Won so much money this season on Palace, will be interesting to see if the run good continues.

Thought Palace were excellent tonight and deserved to win.  The only positive for Watford aside from first 15 mins was that we didn't lose.  Very disappointing.Don't get Holloway though.  His team were superb and outplayed us yet all he wants to do is whine about the fact we get Vydra and Abdi on loan after the game (and he made the point pre-match as well).

Looking forward to watching the full 90 on sky in 15 mins.

Definitely excited by you saying we were excellent. Have no inkling about what any of the goals look like, but can't imagine Ramage's being anything other than scoring a header from a corner. If he scored from 40 yards, I think I will have a heart attack.

Also Holloway is frustrated by the loans more by the fact we have maxed out on the 5 max, or whatever the max is I believe and he wants to get Odemwingie in and possibly a French player he hasn't stated. So it looks like if we want them we need to get rid of either Butterfield, Nimely, Dobbie, Phillips, or Richards, but obv it is going to be one of the first two, and I believe Butterfield's loan is only a matter of days from expiry, however we have Nimely for the rest of the season. I wonder if the arrangement for Nimely too has meant that we basically have to keep him, ie, we said we would pay all the wages for the six months contract and if we let him go before then we are still liable for that.

Would imagine this is what his annoyance is about, but really he should know dem be the rules and he needs to get on with it. Annoying really, when managers whine about things like this.

What are people's opinions on Zaha from watching tonight?

I think he hasn't been the same since the England call up and I lost the plot on this thread one night suggesting he isn't trying hard enough. I think it is the case with him. I am going to watch this game now and probably think he is coasting and the evidence for that comes from what he was like in games like Wolves away (scored two belters) and Peterborough away (was sensational), and what he is like now and from what I have seen it is reminiscent of a man just doing enough to get by.

He needs dropping. Then bring him on for the last 30 mins of a game, enraged that he hasn't started and proving to everyone what he is really about, as at the moment he is relying on his reputation than giving 100%. I think that this method is supported by the only other game where he didn't play a full match this season I believe, at Stoke away, where he was told he was only going to have the first half, and he played some of his best football, knowing he wasn't going to be on the pitch for long, so he gave it his all.

I think Holloway is being way too nice to him, when really he needs a real big kick up the back side.  Maybe he is a little jaded too from all the games? I don't know.

Firstly on Zaha. I am being harsh on him and think I see what the problem, or maybe, the phase he is going through right now.

He is looking a lot, lot, more for the pass rather than taking on 3 players at the same time and getting past them all. He has taken his foot off the gas, is doing enough to beat his man when he has to but is often linking up play so much more and it is pleasing to see.

What I think will eventually come with him is that his link up play won't hinder the times that he will explode into defenders with the same energy he used to and I think he is learning at the moment how to mature his game. It is almost as if he is thinking, right, I could just take on the whole of their backline here, but I definitely need to work on my throughballs and link up plays. When he gets his confidence here, I think he will let his hair down, and fire bullets from all of his guns.

Ashley Richards, in at right back was the clear man of the match for me. Unbelievable what he did in giving away Watford's first, just passing it straight to their man, but otherwise that man is a beast. So quick and strong, and they hardly had a sniff down the left hand side because of him. And he likes to bomb forward and his ball setting up Phillips was great.

Phillips, was unlucky with two chances where on other days he could have done a lot better, and with his goal, I don't think you would want another man in the league in front of that tap in, to make sure it went home.

Thought Delaney played a very good game, and Ramage did okay, and took his goal well. They were both a bit shaky in the first half, but dominant in the second. Moxey is clearly a Holloway type player in that he can get a cross in and bomb forward when he needs to to support, and he loves a good interception lunge to really put off the oppo.

Dikgacoi had an ok game by the looks of it, his shot in the second half was mightily close to going in, but I think he misses his buddy Jedinak a little bit, as both as a partnership are bestial in that midfield, but with the inclusion of Dobbie/Phillips/Bolassie/Zaha, I am not sure if both can feature anymore anyway so it will be interesting to see what happens there.

Williams, the Welsh teenage wonder that came on at halftime looked awesome, and all he needs is games before premiership clubs will be sniffing around him. A great touch and a great eye for a ball and loads of tenacity.

Marrow looked to have a so so game and a terrible lunge on Chabolah which was disappointing to see really, just put out the wrong vibes and was good to see him subbed at half time.

Dobbie is the sort of player we have been missing in midfield in that he really isn't afraid to have a crack at goal and be direct with shots rather than always going out wide with the ball. It is incredible how we were set up to ALWAYS pass to the wings but he adds another dimension by having a cracking shot on him and he will no doubt score for us out of nothing and just be a great help. He was unlucky in the first half with two efforts actually.

Bolassie looked to have had a solid game and was unlucky with a shot he had over the bar, he is overtaking Zaha as the flair man a little which goes to show how Zaha has stepped off the gas, but Bolassie is a great asset to the team and his gyration creates space and opportunity nearly everytime he is on the ball in the opposition's third.

Murray looked a little anonymous, but was unlucky with a chance he couldn't get out of his feet and a header that was close too, but this was one of his quieter games by the looks of it.

On the whole, we pressed very well and in the second half, Watford didn't really have a good chance on our goal. Looked like a one team show, and I think we can say we were unfortunate not to get the three points by the end of it.

I thought both of Watford's goals were fortunate, in Richards giving the ball away and then a mishit shot falling kindly to a man at the back post (which I think is very tough to defend and we were unlucky). Aside from that I think Vydra then had a golden opportunity on the 23 minute to head home from 8 yards out but fluffed it completely. Get to 3-0 and it would have been curtains.

Our first was slightly fortunate, in that Aluminia couldn't get to it, and our second, their man's slide tackle teed up Richards for a cross.

On the whole though we looked impressive. And if we can perform like that and totally dominate a great side like Watford at their gaff, with their record, then I don't see why we can't be in with a shout of winning every game this season.

It is a shame everyone around us has two games in hand on us, effectively meaning Leicester could open up a 7 points gap if they were to play their two games in hand, so it will be interesting to see if they will cock up because they will need to.

I think Palace have now well and truly ridden their massive blip for the season and have come out of it still int he top 6 which is a bit of an embarrassment to the teams trailing, but we will have to consider ourselves very lucky.

Also gutted to not have taken Camel's odds of around 12-1 i think on Palace not to lose at home all season, because I am confident that will be the case now. Should have just gone with my gut for it.

Hope we can get rid of the early game jitters and have the sort of run, that we did under the last games of Dougie Freedman. I think those watching the game tonight think Palace are more than capable of going on a rampant run now. Just all about all the teams around us faltering a little.

15 games to go, we really need to go on a rampage.

Still in the car park at the Riverside, unlikely to move for next half hour.

Fantastic win today.  1-0, 2-1 down, then win 3-2.

Last minute equaliser for Wolves keeps us in the bottom 3 on GD but plenty of teams being dragged in now.
