Yes Boydy!!!!!

Three assists and a goal, and tore Millwall apart by all accounts. Posh have to keep hold until the summer whatever it takes.

Think they'll just move them for free Ant, as the 3 teams are effectively one big club.  There may be tax implications of doing this I imagine though (and I'm sure agents will put a spanner in) but from the rules perspective it will work.

I assume (not sure though) there is a huge amount more money for a team playing in the Premier League than La Liga or Serie A.

If that is the case, Watford will surely get the pick of all the good players from the other 2 clubs.

The future is bright for Watford (points deduction notwithstanding).

Nice one Chomps     ....

Those Tractor Boys watered the pitch all day (according to the radio commentators) to 'stump' Watford    .....    sure did work (it put the brakes on my 3-0 4-0 5-0 bets)!

(WFC h/t f/t etc etc   ....    but thank you - once again - to SKY for the jolly old 8/1 to win both halves.)

Tighty's mob had a mare   ....    I just wish Dull had (whatever will Ollie say when he finds out Flatnose Brucie has loaned in a brace of internationals from the land of Camel Molesters?)

On the Twitter feed it suggested Bridcutt is suspended for Saturday, that can't be right can it?

Huge, huge, come from behind win tonight vs Wolves to get out of the bottom 3, including the bonus of overtaking Huddersfield too.

First 20 minutes looked just like the banana skin I feared tonight, but we dug deep and clawed our way back into it again.

Massive result!

Good result for Chompy's boys too I see, and Special Agent Robins is settling into his role well at Huddersfield.

And a great moment of terrace humour tonight too.

Leading 2-1, the Reds fans start singing Que Sera Sera, ..., We're going to Wemberlee.

The 999 Wolves fans, by now starting to show frustration with their own team, join in but singing "We're going to Shrewsbury".

Brilliant!

I cant see them moving all the eggs into the Watford basket.

I think they may take a lot from Spain rather than Udinese next season if promoted.

Udinese already have a solid european recent history and i still think that will be the first stop for the massive scouting network they have.

On the Twitter feed it suggested Bridcutt is suspended for Saturday, that can't be right can it?

Two match ban has a million yellows.

Home to burnley and hudders though. Crofts out injured and Hammond went off injured so god knows who will play! Might play el abd as holding midfielder where he used to play.

Thought yellows were set back down to zero on Jan 1st?

Only for players under 5 yellows, sigh.

Think same happened last season too.

Depends how you look on it Camel.  Obviously at the moment Udinese are doing us a massive favour, but if we go up I expect Watford's premiership income to be shared between Udinese and Granada as well, so we'd earn less than if we went up on our own.  But that seems a fair payoff for getting there in the first place.

I think the model works well.   But not all agree.

McCarthy seems a good egg - no whining from him about Watford's team set up after the game last night.

What is going to happen when Holloway realises Hull are being fired along by 2 Egyptian internationals due to their chairman contacts?  That avenue isn't open to Palace either!  I guess he won't notice until Palace have to play them and he looks in the match programme.

It's one of the many things wrong in football at the moment.  Surely you have a conflict of interests as the clubs under common ownership can theoretically play against each other in European comps.

A few years ago, they prevented people from having interests in multiple clubs for this reason.  Now they turn a blind eye to it.

I think it's a dangerous road for football to go down.

I doubt the original intent was to have Watford the jewel in the crown.

Using the Hornets to blood young players for the other 2 clubs was probably the plan.

But assuming you make it to the top level, staying there would be worth more than staying in mid table for Grenada and Udinese I guess?

I may be wrong, but I don't think people have ever been prevented from having interests in teams in multiple countries?

I may be swayed be the fantastic football watford are currently playing, but this doesn't bother me much.

If it saves some small teams in England from going to wall, I can't see much downside.

As someone that doesn't care a jot about the England national team, I'd rather see excellent European players than average English ones.
