A little bit outrageous Zaha didn't win young player of the year, losing to Ince, imo, but it isn't much of a big deal regardless.

I think Zaha probably should have been in the top 3 for player of the year too, but with Murray included they aren't going to have two Palace players on that shotlist. Was Vydra more deserving of player of the year than Murray, I am not sure.

How?

Ince been the best player this season. Stats don't lie either for him....

Murray should have won player of season though.

Good to see Calderon win an award, well deserved. Does evening classes for free most week nights.

Fair enough on Ince being better statistically, just think Zaha is proving now to be the better player and I forget about that horrid spell Zaha had around xmas, which should probably rightly take the crown away from him.

Ye amazing what he does for the community and I was surprised to see Alan Lee nominated for his efforts at Huddersfield too.

Funny how Zahahaha can attend the awards but not play football for u21 at the Amex tomorrow.

Karma that he didnt win Wink

Root canal surgery apparently. Seems odd with the timing, may also have something to do with him being suspended for the game on Friday.

Gonna be a good watch hopefully on Friday night, on sky sports, us against Birmingham. Gonna be getting my undivided attention. Torn as to whether or not to actually go myself to Selhurst tho, hmm.

No.  Murray has done more for his club, but Vydra is the "fashionable" choice and thus wins.  To be fair Ince should probably win - Blackpool would be bottom if he hadn't carried that team.

Wow. Now is the best time to go up before fpp comes in pre season, otherwise he won't be able to put all this money to good use.

The advantage that clubs with parachute payments will have with the FFP nonsense is absurd.

If a rich man wants t spend his money on his football team, financial rules shouldn't stop him.

The rules should be there to avoid teams going into debt they cannot service.

Sam Byram on the list for young player of the year? Not many young defenders making a mark this season, fully expect him to go to a prem club at the end of the season for around £6m+.

Leeds will be sold very soon. 51% if not 100%. Looks like we were a quick turnover for the current owners, who have spent exactly £0 on the team. The only thing they did was delay the purchase for 8 months leaving us in limbo and offer some olive branches to bring the fans back (as long as this did not involve spending cash). So until we are bought we have a skint owner, a manager who is leaving at the end of the season and a team at best average at worst bottom third.

Agree completely.  But it seems the aim of the rules have been highjacked so Man Utd can be the biggest team for eternity.  How exciting it is going to be.

U21 game at the amex today, 20k crowd, probably the highest u21 crowd for a long time. Didn't go was bloody freezing but watched it online.

Chalobah bossed it, but they did have 9 men shortly into the second half.

Euro 2016 midfield....Sterling / Wilshere / Chalobah / Zaha Huh?

Think you're forgetting The Ox, hes 19 and I'm sure he will still be better than Sterling in 4 years time.

Seems a bit lightweight too. Could stick Rodwell in there aswell, who is still only 22 and kind of a forgotten entity. I actually think he will come on for Man City and be a real player still but needs to stop getting injured so much.

That would add strength and give the team a spine in a kind of 4-2-1-2-1 look with Wilshere given a freeroll then Zaha and The Ox playing Wide forward supporting Rooney, who will obv still be the best striker at the age of just 30.

I will drop this and I don't care really but this niggled at me a little. Fair play on Vydra winning the all round player of the year award, but in doing so how did he not win the young player of the year award? If Ince beat him to the young player of the year surely he should be the best all round player or vice versa? Just think that is an anomaly many might not have picked up the first time around. Think it shows the awards to be a bit of a joke. Probably wasting my time bringing that up in the first place!

Palarse fans need to realise form is temporary, class is permanent.

Vydra got a better goals/min strike rate? A third of murrays goals are pens too.

Ince should be player of season and vydra young player of season.
