Credit to them though i will say they defend exceptionally well, no doubt the reason for their very decent away record this season.

Boom!  Massive!

I see that result and think Palace are still in with a shot. I swear I can't stop being optimistic despite our dire form.

I just want that win ffs, have you and Hull lose, and we're 3 points adrift with 5 games to go, wouldnt that be nice, and a redic undeserved sweat for auto promotion.

It's effectively dream world, but as I try to lay my head to sleep its making me feel better Smiley

I would have looked at the Barnsley at home game not so long ago, and despite their form, say we would be too strong for them to not be worrying too much. I really don't know what to expect on Saturday, but I know I am going to be there.

LOL at Hull forum

Hull City 0 Udinese B 1

I realise that City fans will be having heated discussions about tonights game - tactics, who played well, who didn't play well - but it is all irrelevant.

My take on tonights game is that the first 20 minutes we started brightly but then once they started pinging the ball about we had no chance of living with them and City started to drop off and caused problems for themselves.

I am sorry but the League have recognised it as cheating - I think the statement read ' they have gained an unfair advantage on the field of play this season' with their loaness and boy did it show.
I am sorry but I abhor cheating and the fact that they are likely to get promoted by cheating and do so - it having been sacntioned by the League is unpalatable.

The latter half of the 1st half not one team in our division could have coped with - the fact that more than half of their players should not be playing is wrong.

I think Ian Holloway stated that 'no team in our league can put out a side of such quality' and he is right.

The League really do need to get their act together on this because if Zola hadn't done such a poor job managing them, by rights they should be a good 10-20 points clear of Cariff - never mind us.

The 2nd half they invited us to apply pressure but only because they know how to defend (Italian mentality) - once they had scored there was no way on earth we would.

I only hope that if we don't go up with Cardiff that Palace,Forest,Brighton or even Leicester do - because as much as I don't like big Nige - for all his faults he is not a cheat.

My only consolation is that if Watford go up then they will be buggered - they will need to sign a full squad of players as they have been told they cannot repeat this seasons fiasco. They will finish rock bottom of the Prem as they have no solid base to build on and they will come down with massive debts. I give it two years and they will be in the Championship & in administration with a points deduction and looking at League 1.

Yep Saturday is a biggie Bobby.  Have given up on them winning the league to be honest, but more important than that (althought he 200-1 would be nice!) is that we don't undo last night's work by losing as Hull are likely to beat Boro.

If can chip away at Cardiff's lead then the fact Hull play Cardiff on the last game might work in our favour.

Credit to them though i will say they defend exceptionally well, no doubt the reason for their very decent away record this season.

Took us until 90th min to actually look like scoring.

Players too tired. Crofts and Orlandi in for Vicente and Lopez please.

Andrew Hughes back the last two games for Charlton glad to see him return at the right time of the season for them.

Did Charlton show much upfront?

I think Leeds will be a totally different team at the weekend under Redfearn, might play some real wingers and two upfront. I expect goals a plenty

Next to nothing, couple of chances that game from defensive frailties.

Listening to the Radio 5 commentary last night the commentator stated that the issue of international loanees was being put to the Championship chairmen by the FL, and they would decide what action will be taken.

He then said that the 'feedback' from said moguls was that the majority favoured retention of the present system.

I'd love to know which way Holloway's chairman sways     .....      (no innuendos please - it makes Brighton fans twitchy)
