After spending the end of last year playing in different online mtt's varying in buy in from $2 - $30+ I have met someone from another forum who has been giving me some coaching on playing stt and basic stt strategy.
This year I intend to only play 9, 18 and 45max games on stars along with the occasional large comp but very few. I am going to start with playing 6 tables but hopefully with the help of TN I will be up to 10 or 12 in no time.
This could fall on its arse at the first hurdle but I thought I would give it a go and where better to post it than here.
I have been reading the diarys on here and the majority are excellent reads, its not my intention to turn this into a diary but more of somewhere public that I can post my days/weeks results and take all the advice positive or negative from the experienced guys on here.
I will initially be playing at the $3.50 level, this will all be staked at a 50/50 split with the same guy who has been giving me the coaching.
The volume I play will depend on work schedule but I aim to play a minimum of 150 games a week, I am aware that this isnt huge volume but I still feel that its enough to combat the variance.
My goals for 2013 are:
To play: 8000 games minimum
Hopefully reach the 7$ level by the end of the year.
Build a big enough personal roll where I can take next year on myself
Play a handful of live events and take a few shots at bigger comps.
