I would like it like Mark's where just my profile picture is just on show.

There are family members I do not get on with & they can still see all my pictures, etc. Not only this, but I have a stressful work situation where it's not ideal for others to see anything to be quite fair.

Like I said in the previous post the privacy settings on Facebook are getting worse. I can see what friends post on randoms peoples statuses. I would not like that to be the same situation as me.

I just don't let any work people on mine. I would personally bin anyone I did not get on with family or not. I don't get all these people that have hundreds of friends on there, seriously who has that many friends in real life anyway?

This.

I have loads of pending requests & I wonder why people add complete randoms? Also hate stupid idiots who can't grasp the English language and type every word starting with a capital letter. The share button is just a carbon copy of a RT on Twitter zzzzz!

I don't have family members that I get on with on my Facebook, never mind the ones I don't.

This + 1

You can target your privacy settings very precisely, so you could exclude specific groups of people.

But mainly I think if you don't want people to see your statuses and photo's - why are they on your Facebook?

What are u trying to hide?!?

Yes if you haven't done anything wrong why do you need "privacy" imo

Isn't that obvious?  Don't you do and say things to friends that you would make you feel uncomfortable in front of your parents or older family members.  Would you really want your prospective employer to see that daft drunken picture of you with a traffic cone on your head that you think your friends would appreciate?  We all act differently according to the company we keep in certain situations surely?

I was being facetious  Sad *
